A Visit to the North East Maritime Trust 2024

The North East Maritime Trust are starting a new project making some boats for the Sea Cadets. We've donated a few hundred quid's worth of Epoxy Resin and Marine & Industrial are also helping out with £500 worth of materials.
The NEMT is a brilliant organization dedicated to preserving the maritime heritage of the North East of England. Founded with a mission to restore, maintain, and operate a collection of traditional vessels that are indigenous to the region, NEMT plays a crucial role in keeping the area's maritime history alive. The trust focuses on a variety of vessels, including fishing boats, workboats, and other craft that have historical significance to the North East's coastal communities.

We last made a short video about the NEMT in 2011, and as we're helping out with some Epoxy Resin, we thought we'd pop in with a camera and see what they're up to in 2024.
