I don't understand why people hated this game, I get that there are levels that makes you throw your GameCube Controller across the states, but the overall Game itself is a Master Piece.
There is 1 boss in this adventure of Mario that I'm really scared of: Phantamanta. That boss is seriously creepy and the looks and movements of that monster makes it even more creepier. Thanks to seeing Phantamanta, I am not trusting anywhere I step. Are you scared reckless of this boss, too?

I've always had the theory that the Piantas did the whole kangaroo court thing as a way to get Mario to clean up the island, knowing that the blue "Mario" obviously wasn't everyone's favorite plumber (and that such an act being out of character for our portly plumber), showing the lack of critical thinking on their part. They could have just _asked_ him to clean up the island and nab the culprit, since Mario has a habit of willingly doing hero stuff even without being asked. But then again, we wouldn't have as much of a plot if they used their noggins, so it all works out.

Super Mario Sunshine seemed to be a improved 3d Mario game after Super Mario 64! Glad I bought this game around $60 when I had the chance at a classic game store along with a few GameCube games I was able to get.
