hello, great video, how is the fit? what's your size and the boots' size? manufacturer recommend half size up your normal size, being able to put around a-finger-size between your heel and the boot.
I wear side 10.5 US and got a 45 EU size. There was plenty of space in the boot. Unfortunately I didn’t get to test the boot in real scenarios since my trip got cancelled. But I had a lot of space in my shoe to wiggle my toes, and generally it felt that my foot was secure and not too loose, especially with the BOA system
Hi Alex, I have seen plenty of people using the previous version of these boots on Aconcagua. Given your goals, these boots should give you what you need. Below is a link to the current temps on Aconcagua, which is during climbing season. www.mountain-forecast.com/peaks/Aconcagua/forecasts/6962
way to hot for Aconcagua, last season we didn't even put crampons on, no snow from base camp to the summit. a 6000 double boot will be more than plenty, you could probably get away with a single boot.
Thanks! I’m not sure exactly what temp they work until but these boots can take you up Everest and across north and South Pole. These are the top of the line so unless you find another brand with similar level of boot they should be able to get you up any mountain you at targeting
How did you size them respective to your regular shoe size? I have some G2 SM, and i got a 43. They were too small with double socks, and i ended up with black toenails. I wear a 9.5 US. For these MOns, im thinking about getting a 44? What are you thoughts? I an doing Aconcagua, and then next year I hope to hit the HImalayas.
Bro I'm also going to Aconcagua Did you book through alpenglow expeditions? I'm 9.5 and wear a 43 in the g2 Evo and was wonder if I should get the 44 in the mons since it's a triple boot. Did you end up buying a pair?
Hi, I haven't find them in store to try them, so I am interested in the size and fit if I am to order online. I saw that this pair in your video is size 45. Can you compare it with another model of LaSportiva boots like G2 or G5 or any other you have tested which fitted similar to this one and you remember the size?
We were planning on Denali last spring too. Are you trying again this spring for Denali? I read one review of this boot that sounded similar to the G2SM boot. That is that there was significant rubbing on the shin because there was no liner tongue/or the way the shell was shaped/or whatever. What were your thoughts after doing some training in these boots. Hot spots, rubbing lower shin? I loved the G2 SM but didn’t want to risk the discomfort up front that I was feeling so I sent them back. Would love to try these but I’m a bit hesitant.
Hello my friend I need to ask you something about The Sportiva Olympus Mons Cube. I saw your video and you ordered the boots from la sportiva American website and you got the black sole but I see in the website that has the sole in yellow and I don't want the yellow I want the black sole, the same that you got. You can answer me here or contact me at my facebook Yandy Nunez Martinez

Great video thanks! How do you feel about sizing? Sportiva runs a little small.

great job Zach
Thanks!
Hi , Zach !
I have a question about g2 and g5 , are they fully water proof 🤔 , because I'm gonna use one of then in heavy wet snow ❄ storms and etc.
What crampon did you find that fit these well?
Do you think it's too hot for Aconcagua? Looking to buy mountaineering boots could use for 7000m peak, higher and Arctic weather.

Unfortunately, Denali is cancelled this year. The national parks in Alaska are shut down due to COVID.
