- these beautiful flowers popped up on my explore page and I had to make them! Since the reel is so short and I couldn’t find a longer form tutorial, I made this one. They’re so cute and perfect for gifts or decoration. I hope it’s helpful! :)
Written instructions:
For each bouquet (5 flowers and 1 wrapper), you’ll need:
- Five 3x3 inch flower color squares
- Five 3x3 inch green squares (for stem)
- One 3x3 inch wrapper square
For the flowers:
1. Fold one edge of the square about 1/4 inch down
2. Roll the piece of paper (folded edge inside)
3. Twist this roll of paper, making sure to leave the folded edge uncrushed! (this will become the face of your flower)
For the stem:
1. Cut three ½ inch slits along one edge of the square, spreading the cuts at ¼, ½, and ¾ of that edge
2. Fold down on both edges of this new rectangle you’ve created, making a triangle shape. You should have 4 small triangles on one edge of the square!
For the wrapper:
1. Bend the paper around one corner, creating a cone
2. Using tape (regular or double-sided tape), attach the 2 touching edges of the paper to stick the cone shape together
Flower + stem assembly:
1. Roll the stem (the square with 4 triangles) around the twisted flower shape you’ve created (think of rolling a sushi roll!). Be sure that the triangles point in the same direction as the face of the flower.
2. Twist the stem around the twisted flower shape so they stay together
3. Bend the triangles downward slightly (away from the face of the flower) so they frame the flower instead of lying parallel to it.
Bouquet assembly:
1. Stick your five assembled flower + stem into the cone shape of the wrapper. You may need to cut the ends of the flower a bit to fit them well
2. You’re done! Enjoy your beautiful, non-wilting flowers!! :)

Im trying to make these for my boyfriend to give to him on valentines day, but im struggling to make the flower without my paper ripping, any tips?
for sure! this was something I dealt with too. Instead of twisting the flower immediately after rolling, it helps to scrunch it down first with your fingers so the paper gets wrinkled, then slowly start twisting. Be patient with it and don't force the paper, because that's when it'll start to rip. I hope this helps!!
MY PAPER KEPT RIPPING THE HOLE TIME 😭😭😭😭😭😭
aww I'm sorry to hear that T.T this was something I dealt with too. 3x3 is way to small can i make it 5x5?
yes of course! as long as it's a square it should work :)
i dont understand how 1/4 1/2 3/4 works for the stem 😭😭
The goal is to just split the edge of the paper into 4 even sections! The fraction system was the best way I could think of to describe it in method, but just divide that edge by 4. I hope this is helpful!
how do i make the flower??
i js saw the description mb!!!!
How much is 3 inches in Cm?
it's around 7.6 cm!
i’m making this for my gf because i can’t afford real flowers 🙁
my european ass is struggling with translating all the measurements into cms 😭😭
haha thank you still for watching ^^~
I CANTT DO IT IDKK WHAT IM DOING WRONG IT COULD BE THE PAPER IM USING BCS IVE TRIED TWO DIFF ONES ONE WAS TOO THIN AND THE OTHER WAS TOO THICK.ANOTHER PROBLEM IS THAT I WANNA COLOR THE PAPERS BUT IDKK IF ITLL WORK EITHER WAY THANKS A LOT FOR THIS TUTORIAL ILL EDIT THIS COMMENT IF I DO THEM. ACTUALLY NVM WRITING THIS COMMENT MOTIVATED INTO TRYING ONE LAST TIME AND IT WORKED ALTHOUGH THE FLOWERS WERENT AS GOOD AS YOURS ILL WORK ON THEM MORE TYYYYY LOTS and sadly i do not have colored paper so ill have to color each one
I saw someone use a highlighter/marker to just color the edge of the flower paper that is visible! maybe that could help save time with coloring each one :)
@@carrielucky10 thats a great idea thankss a lot
boys spray it with your perfume to give them s nice smell, your girls may love it
making this with sticky notes is so hard for some reason😢😢
it will be harder with a sticky edge! I recommend cutting some squares yourself or finding squares without glue :)
poop
I made one for my girlfriend
She was so happy 🥹
Thankyou for the procedure 🩵
