Becky, you're avery talented colorist! Hanna Karlzon is my favorite artist right now and I love to see your beautiful pages in her books. I like artists like her, Christina Vogel, Maria Trolle and Klara Markova, they are very whimsical without being childish. I'm now following your page.
Thank you so much and I'm grateful to have you here! Feel free to check out my coloring tutorials and speed coloring videos to see my processes in action
Your finished pages are beautiful and I admire your restraint with the amount of colouring books you have. I don’t have a crazy collection but I have more than you 😂
@ColourfulSteph thank you kindly! In my mind I'm thinking that instead of looking at the price I paid for the book, I'm looking at the price I paid per finished colored image 😆 🙈
I love your finished pages. I thought my collestion was small but yours is truly minimalist :D Last count I had 72 books, feels like yesterday I had 50! I've now promised myself to keep my books to max 75 (I'm definitely going to get Kerby's dark fairy tales) but it's very difficult since my favorite illustrators are all still going strong (Basford, Berman, Rosanes) with new books releasing every year. I've destashed all my Amazon paper books (had only a handful but still) and a few books that I've 'outgrown' the art style (I started coloring back in 2015 so I have quite a few books that I simply won't color at all now).
@sugarcandy243 I think I poured my collecting urges into the pencils and supplies 😅 I think I also got lucky to almost exclusively only get books that I was really really excited about style wise. But at the end of the day you gotta do what makes you happy because that all that matters! I'm going to start to take one of my books to work with a budget set of pencils so that I can start making progress 🤞
@@WhatBeckyDidLastNightOfficial That is so true!. And I've also reached a point where it feels like I have 99% of what I need and even 90% of things I simply want. This year I've hardly bought any supplies ro books, yet I'm very content to use what I have. I'm sure this point feels different for every person, some like to have only a handful of books and supplies while other need an art/craft room. Personally I hate clutter (both visual and actual) so all my stuff has to fit within a closet or bookcase or something similar. If my closet is full, I don't buy more clothes. If my bookcase is full, no more books. If my work desk is full, no more art supplies LOL.
Gorgeous collection of books and your oages are STUNNING. Thank you so much for sharing xxx❤
Thank you so much, you're very welcome! Happy coloring ❤️
