You can easily make this 18x24x36" instead of you want more range from the same single sheet. The shorter you go on the short edge of course the less stable it will be jumping to the highest side, if that's how you're using it..
So I watched the plyo box version 2 on break it yourself and his version had these weird notches on the corners unlike yours. The main reason he did version 2 was he wanted all sides supported by plywood and not just by screws on the 24" side. Are your dimensions different because you are able to support all sides with plywood and not just screws?
I didn't know why he liked this comment but didn't reply. This is identical to the version 1 and is NOT equally supported on all sides. Just look at the intro to the video and the side facing us is inset on all 4 edges. Of course you could also just put some 2x2 inside each edge without changing the plywood and make this whole thing a lot more durable design.
My local public library in Oakland California has a tool library at one of its branches. There I can borrow various tools I don't own for occasional use.
Not all coatings are created equally! You probably want an oil or stain that will soak in, not a coating like polyurethane or paint that will sit on top and potentially stay tacky.
Sanded is much more expensive and is used for fine work like shelving or cabinetry. For a plyo box, unsanded is perfect. Just give it a quick hand or machine sand and you will be fine. Even if you don't sand it, it will work.

Not sure what the point of this video was. You didn’t show us “how” to make it. You showed us what you do with it, the tools we’ll need, and who can actually show us how to make it.
Sorry you feel that way. I did not want my video to seem like I came up with the design. Many of my followers were looking for a COVID friendly home workout device. I would rather reference someone else's design and give them full credit. Then provide value like giving printable plans on my website and the tip for getting the plywood cut at Lowe's or Home Depot.
Measurements are wrong. It should be 28.5 x 18.5 NOT 28 x 18.5. Break it down video has the correct measurements.

You could make the hole grips before assembling

How much did it cost for the cuts to be made at Lowes?
My Lowes has never charged me for any of the cuts. There is a sign by the saw that says $0.25 per cut, but they usually do it for free.
