    I'm always impressed with amount of chatter you get, which is none.

      Are you new to machining? Chris is machining a big heavy part in a big rigid machine using huge toolholders. The chance of chatter is close to zero.

    A jak obrabiasz drugą stronę to pod szczęki podkładasz jakieś brązowe podkładki :D?

    • @ChrisMaj
      @ChrisMaj  2 года назад +1

      To zależy od kawałka i za jaką średnicę łapię. Czy za powierzchnię bardzo gładką, gdzie raczej nie powinno być żadnych odcisków, czy coś nie dokładnego.

    Does the lathe change speed as it moves towards the centre to keep cutting speed consistent

    Curious why you choose 4 jaws over 3? We always have issues with distortion (of course our parts are thinner walled than this).

    • @ChrisMaj
      @ChrisMaj  9 месяцев назад

      I don't think larger chucks come with 3-jaw. At least I've never seen one

    Kdyby si používal G kód místo hloupého cyklu, mohl jsi použít M4 a jedním nožem obrobit celí kus.
    If you used the G code instead of a stupid cycle, you could use M4 and machine the whole piece with one knife.
