Inverting player can only be done as game is progressing not on the information .. as we saw by Cucrella during European competition,it a kind switching between players..the keeper can’t even help Sanchez move us forward.. no positive to take from this match
The problem is not the players. The problem is the coach. His tactics is not working It is exposing the team defensively and always isolate the wingers in 1v2 situations. Inverting Jame is not ideal.

It's just fitness. When you look at the team carefully, you realise it's full of new and injured players from last season. They've been inactive for a while now. I see what the coach is doing. The coach is trying them before the season begins. Preseason is where you make all your mistakes. You can't know that a player is fit until you put him in a match. He has training fitness but not the match fitness. You people should allow Maresca to make his mistakes. Bcoz he wouldn't have an excuse when the league starts

i have a feeling if we sell chalobah and petrovic there careers will turn like salah and de bruynes and courtois it will sting us because they came from us and we forced them out and now there world class players 🤦♂️
I wouldn’t want to blame the coach because he is Experimenting but the players were all awful and sloppy They need to wake up we can’t even create well enough clearcut chances Some of them are not fit such as Lavia fofana and co why some don’t even deserve to Earn a starting 11 maybe loan or something Do you know that Brendan Rogers who coached Celtic joined them last month the same month Maresca was announced but yet you can see his style of play being implemented in the space of a month. So Let’s leave all this they have not yet understand thing they are professional players it didn’t take Tuchel time to implement his style of play and that is because the players were good and were really professional about it but this one’s most of them don’t care Tbh I don’t recognize my club anymore Other Teaks are get better season by season but we have retrograded in the last 3 years and yet to hit the button low 😢
