I fully support returning of tithes and offerings.. How else would the church be able to meet the needs.. Its only wrong if the funds are used inappropriately.. We are still in this world and as such good and bad exist. The Lord advises us to let wheat and tares to grow together until the harvest. May God help me to continue returning the tithes until I die or Jesus comes again 🙏
They can grow together, but need we water and fertilize them with our tithes? With my tithes I am buying evangelizing materials (Great Controversy and Bibles) and just giving to my church because I am convicted to not support known apostasy. I have been faithful in my giving since 2000, and Yah has blessed my stewardship so far in that I am emboldened to make this testimony and stand for the truth.
The temple administrators (sda of Jesus time) , rejected Jesus. God was not at all pleased and abandoned this House of God on Earth. He made the romans desecrate and pillage then utterly destroy this temple, not one brick stood upon another. The end of Gods house and the levites and the tithing system. GONE. Now we still give, but only to those who take the gospel, including church members who give their time for spreading the gospel. No leader, only elders who guide the work and teach newcomers how to be new disciples who in turn spread the gospel. Its the desired domimo effect, all brethren in christ
You 're wrong my sir, the SDA church do a lot for community, and the church members if they need it, what is the issue with the second tithes you want the church asking they members for more money,sorry, if I understand you wrong.the bible say we have to take care for our own family.. But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8. But if a widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show godliness to their own household and to make some return to their parents, for this is pleasing in the sight of God.1 Timothy 5:4.
You need to promote this second tithe issue in your congregation, but as I understand it this should be managed by the local congregation. Involving the higher organization (mission, Conference, Union, Division and General Conference) will be a sure way to cause problems in implementation
I am SDA member but I don’t pay tithe since Iam employed and not self employed ( Iam not making any profit, Iam a Morden salve) secondly Jesus is our high priest and we are all priest so every man must work like Paul and than do Gods work. If he claims to be a Levite it means from Sunday to Friday he is busy with Gods work and nothing else. I offer freewill only. And I offer to anyone who needs it specially the widows and orphans.
Employment or anything doesn't matter, the thing is, you don't have to pay tithes. Jesus is Judah and you too. He has never asked for tith because he knows he's not a Levite. If you're pastors own everything, why should they ask for tithes? The church should have other avenues of contributing towards the church demands.

Hence the situation today in the church of God is similar to that of the first advent of Christ, The Jewish church (GC of today) rejected Christ (The Present Truth), so the storehouse moved to the little flock (Disciples of Christ). So it is today. Today the tithes should go to the little flock inside the SDA church who are feeding the flock the Present Truth (Sealing truth, the Purification of the church message). God bless
