This man is a classic hit maker. At least our generation has an artist that will make us feel how our parents felt when they listened to Ray Phiri & Hugh Masikela back then. So timeless. Does anyway what condenser mic he is using that seems to pick his vocal only so well..yet he is out side.
So , Last year July I went to visit my best guy friend basically my brother in Durban spend the weekend with him and just catch up with the rest of our mates and one night we come back to his crib and we sat up talking and I played this feel good session cause it was my favorite and little did I know he also loved it so here we are chilling watching the sun rise laughing and exchanging stories to each song ..
This year In September my best mate was murdered, I lost my Best friend my Brother he was only 21 so listening to this again brings me so much pain and joy at the same time . RIP Sandy Baby💋

Major Respect Sjav...You have truly redefined and created your unique genre. I was going through a very tough time in 2016 while in Iran. I would often search for music that would remind me of home and to remind me to keep pushing and fighting to achieve my dream. I went for months without sleep, in the hope that one day i would do away with the struggle of being financially deprived. Your Song Hlasela really gave me hope each and every morning when i woke up , even became my alarm tone. Thanks for following your dream, you're an inspiration to many just by the virtue of fulfilling your purpose in this world. God Bless ma guy

After viewing some of the episodes I hopped on twitter and thanked JR for these sessions, they kind of remind me of those rooftop sessions that were hosted by loot love but they don't play anymore. I'm also glad to see everybody commenting in a positive manner, this is exactly what music is supposed to do, to bring people together.
