FNAF Anniversary Remaster - Fredbear's Family Diner

- 10 years of Five Nights at Freddys has come around so fast!
I wanted to do something that honoured not just this monumental milestone for the franchise, but also hitting the one-year (and one month) mark of me starting my First Night as Freddy story.
The goal was to produce something efficiently and fun that you will (hopefully) love, while my main focus stays on Episode 11 (It's coming, don't you worry!)
I figured it'd be fun to reflect on my animation rendering improvements in the past year I've been working on this series, by recreating the first two parts that started this wild Fredbear's Family Diner journey!
I managed to produce this in five days (and 'five nights', funnily enough) and I'm pretty happy with the results! All motion captured, animated, and rendered in record time! I did get a little help from the ever-passionate Azzuruth with some of the final sound design. He's the chap who does the music for Buzzare's VHS Tapes, so be sure to give him a follow on his socials!
Also, for a bit of a laugh, there's a little message from everyone's favourite stoner at the end of the video!

I love the horror gradually shifting from being afraid of Fredbear to being afraid for Fredbear. Making him scary and then, immediately showing him scared of Spring Bonnie does a great job of establishing them as a threat even without them doing anything at all

The dislocated jaw was an amazing design choice.
Imagine having your head shoved into the mouth of your worst fear that's been haunting your nightmares for weeks and hearing a mechanical snapping sound and feeling immense pain before waking up in the body of that very nightmare covered in your own blood.
The animatronic doesn't even breathe. Imagine that you got used to breathing, but now you can't and you feel like you're suffocating but can't die from it because you're already dead and became the culprit.
Funnily enough that is exactly what happened in the video.

Dude that seriously freaked me out. The way he moved was unreal! or... real actually! the animation work was so impressive and realistic. My favorite scene was when he looked at his hands cause it was uncanny!

I love that we are basically watching the ghost child fully inhabiting the Fredbear animatronic, and getting used to it, it’s disturbing, creepy, and yet incredibly inaginative

This is honestly more heartbreaking than scary. I mean, something about the way the jaw moves and the human movements in spite of it just makes this situation seem like something that, on a fundamental level, simply _should not exist._
My jaw is on the FLOOR. This looks INSANE. The textures, the movements, it is so unreal that it looks REAL. This thing looks like it was SHOT ON A CAMERA. IT IS INCREDIBLE

1:29 - 2:48 I love how you can infer or tell that Evan is possessing fredbear just by the body language in these shots. It's so life like while still keeping that animatronic like movement. The way he reaches to touch sb and tries to free himself from the stage is so well done, as well the rest of the video! I love this series bc fnaf 4 is my favorite fnaf game, so good luck and keep up the good work! 🐻❤️
I love the remaster. I've watched the original video and liked it but I love the remaster. It shows a lot of detail from the fuzziness of Freddy and Springtrap to the blood splatter on the floor. Would love to see more of this

This is by far the coolest FNAF animation I've ever seen. It's scary, the animation is incredible, the story is good, The emotion of the child, Jeremy is funny. I just love it very much
Dude, I could see this as a gritty HBO FNAF show (and think that is what we need instead of the movies). Sadly, I think Cawthon wouldn't like going over PG-13, which I respect to a degree, but I think this and the VHS tapes are the best adaptations of the lore.

FNAF doesn't need heavy gore to be good..which pg13 allows things like death, blood, and injuries as long as it doesn't go towards heavy gore territory (the pg13 label actually allows a lot in the USA..as we don't have a "teen" rating really like some countries do..just pg13 and then 18+/M afterwards. PG doesn't allow much, PG13 is pretty lenient, and 18+/M is only given if the content has: heavy gore, "too much blood" which PG13 is quite lenient on, or well.."adult bedroom action" )

Jake, this is amazing. This whole project is AMAZING! The texture on the animatronic is soooo good! The animation of Jeremy is excellent ! Light, colors, and camera works, GORGEOUS! I can't wait for the next episode!
One of my personal gripes with the FNAF franchise has always been that its animatronics never used actual animatronic design techniques, which already looked VERY creepy. This short perfectly underlines what I mean!
i love love love how everyone in this series moves so uncannily. Like Jeremy, Evan, Michael, William, even possessed Fredbear moves so jerkily and nonsensically that it really adds to the whole creepy factor of the series. i can't wait for more!!

I love the way fredbear moves, feels perfectly like how a human would move inside a suit, awkwardly alive (also the way he "t-rex arm" posed when he was just looking around adds to it) also the slow realization of what might be going on, in addition to the small noises like grunting and that being made really adds

This so incredible. The movements are so unnerveing the really remind me of the dog from duck season who really freaked me out when i was younger. Kind of startled me into thinking about how horrible it must be to suddenly possess the robot that frightened and then killed you. Its the kind of thing you forget wit the newer games

This is my first time watching your channel and it’s such a unique concept, I have yet to encounter a piece of fan media that explores the feeling of the children of realizing they are possessing the animatronics. Well fuck now I’m hooked. Just watched through the whole series because of this, knowing only the bare (more like BEAR) bones of FNAF lore. Which honestly makes it more fun, because while I know about the bite, I didn’t know about the Emilys, or the character dynamics.
