I love the style of these old documentaries. So different then what we see with modern documentaries. Kind of wish this style would make a come back.

They did not try to be cool with the kids back then, the just gave pure direct accurate information into the young brain's.

This old way of teaching is the best way in my opinion. If this society wasn't so messed up we could convert back to this wY of teaching an society would be WAY better off

"Narrator, Richard Basehart!" I have my memories of the old B&W , rabbit ears and three channels....
He,(the narrator) was an actor in several TV shows when I was just a puppy....

The science and discovery are inspiring, but the exploitation of the poor to obtain these gems makes me repulsed!

Welcome to brute capitalism, and be grateful that conditions are improving in at least some areas. Work protections are no joke, thisbis why.

2:51 first a large portion of land was found with the richest resources on any continent ( with Antarctica being an unknown) so the people that found the continent also found the people were willing to share so the divided and conquered the s*** out of that continent. Now children are starving because their ancestors got duped and the treasures of mother are locked away for few to see. Luckily the word got out.. Not that it provides infrastructure

Educate yourself, you might learn the meaning of the word Troglodyte. Though you'll probably just google it and miss my point completely.
