I am using hot spot but my ipad still consumes a large chunk of data. This happened right after I updated my ipad into a new version. It consumes about 1GB in just less than 2 minutes.
@@rikomandal9470 hi. the ipad is now back to normal. in fact, it got back to normal after 3 days. i think it consumed a large chunk of data because during its early days since the update, the system was still undergoing the process of updating.

My iPhone was using my cellular data at an abnormal pace (finishing 200mb in around 10 seconds) and it turns out it was the auto software update but after toggling it off, doing all the steps on the video and hard restarting my phone a few times it still uses the cellular data, does anyone have a possible solution to this?
@@user-vs2cz1kv3p I managed to fix it, just go into settings - mobile service and toggle the settings icon off for the settings option and it should stop that.
Yeah my mobile hotspot is getting used up much faster then it’s ever had, and I use metered connection and set my phone to low data mode to help reduce the amount it uses but still uses a lot in a short amount of time. And I also don’t even stream in high quality
Do perform all settings reset once if not tried already and for next 1 or 2 days monitor the data usage in mobile data bro. that will give better idea which app or system service is using more data.
@@dailytut thank you for the concern bro, idk what the problem is, sometimes the data is being consumed so fast and sometimes it’s normal, it could be due to my phone in general but idk, I’ll check in a few days and I’ll edit my comment so others will have an idea of what else they can do. I definitely tried all the things in the video, they worked temporarily for me though. Thanks overall.
The issue was fixed and it happened again 😂 it’s rlly so frustrating coz this isn’t just some game, it’s money that is beating eaten up. I’m very much going to switch to an android when I get a new phone soon.
Disabling all the options under automatic downloads section for appstore worked for me
What consumes mine is system services , documents and sync precisely .
