Its a very British reaction re Scarlett feeling pressured to get over her emotions. We rarely accept anyone having a moment. British people don't do emotion not in a Dickens way not that bad but the culture is still there.
I just wanted to say I 1000% agree with what they said about River. It did not look expensive, the fabric used looked very cheap. It’s clear the judges were scared to criticize it b/c we know how the fans are.

Besides valid it was kinda annoying Ella said she was giving up, but Scarlett also said that Charity was negative, so like idk Im just not feeling her lol.
This is the best Bob has ever looked on the podcast.
As a Brit, I’d like to clarify that to “fob someone off” means you placate someone but don’t actually address their concerns. So they tell you what they think you want to hear to stop you from asking pressing questions or pushing a point.
I love you both but I gotta say River's runway was EASILY the best one of the night am I the only one that thought so?
which is saying a lot because the material was...not good.
@@eyeonthepanda the challenge was not to wear expensive material. River looked regal and her interpretation was the best.
@@eyeonthepanda I feel like the message of the look sold it more than the material for me. To be fair the reason it sold for me is because you could see her feeling rich whilst walking the runway
meh
if i compare it to Kahmora's train look and Plastique's finale it falls flat
the way this video was 10x more entertaining than the episode
as a southeast asian, i agree with bob & monet that river's runway doesn't look so expensive, hence not appropriate for the runway but i really think the judges were genuine when they praised the look in question. i think river is perfection, but i have seen a lot of southeast asian outfits that would be more appropriate for the runway
Big same! I'm Asian and was like she looks good but I'm offended these ppl can't tell the difference between something that looks cheap and expensive lmaooo
Bob looks so delicate and beautiful!
Bob acting out and blowing up what happened on the show is always the funniest shit ever
Am I the only one who listens to the podcast then watched this as well? 😂 love it
Bob stole all the hair from monet head for this episode STUNNING
Monet serving Mrs. Potato Head realness and i'm living for it she looks stunning OMG 😭
monet bald just makes me think of the dora milaje i liiiive
this season is so strange i swear rupaul like just straight up desensitized to everything at this point
How the shows go basically depends on her given mood. Fingers crossed Channel 4 buy the rights and replace her with Paul O'Grady (Lily Savage) or something.
@@rsmith6366 O'Grady has been pretty outspoken about drag race (he comes from a 'drag queen's do comedy' background) so doubtful that would ever happen. I'd love to see him in drag again
@@higg873 The point is that Drag Race would be changed towards the more Britush-centric style. Paul O'Grady would be presiding over a better show with less influence on looks, and more on acting and comedy. Let queens actually wear off the rack like Lily would sometimes (albeit not the racks average people would neccesarily wear out).
I don't think he'll ever do drag again, Lily retired a long time ago. But what's important is that he has the background, and he's actually British, so he gets it.
@@rsmith6366 Feel like it isnt going anywhere sadly. The bbc originally singed for 6 seasons and even though there was rumours they dropped it s4 casting just opened
@@ait8551 They gave up Bake Off, arguably one of their biggest annual shows.
Bob looks absolutely incredible. Monet's look is on point, as well.
23:00 EXACTLY!!! I'm glad y'all have Scarlett's back.
watch the video before commenting
@@XxSoKKurxX watched the video and im so glad they defended Scarlett
@@tomieb Melanie have commented 4 times In not talking about Scarlett
RuPaul: Drag is not a contact sport
Scarlett: Hold my cane
I love Bob. So messy. “You think anyone can win DRUK?“ and Monet just knows now… doesn’t fall for the messiness anymore hahaha
Bob I live for this double braided ponytail number. . It's so unapologetically black I love it
Monet looked so good literally 😭🥺🤧😲😳I almost tweeted at her cuz her makeup was flawless and I liked the wig 💀
"You think Ella Vaday could win?" Yes Bob... She did have a chance 😂
Bob and Monet constantly keep getting prettier and prettier 😍😍😍😍😍
I gagged at the Scarlet and Charity thing too! Charity said in the Yearbook RUclips episode that she didn’t even know Scarlet was trying to partner up with her
She literally had her arms wrapped around her. How could she not know Scarlet was trying to pair up with her😂
‘Fob me off’ means dismiss me or ignore me. To use in a sentence: Don’t try to fob me off, beeeeeatch! I ain’t the one!! 🤣😂🤣😂
FINALLY SOMEONE CALLED IT OUT! it doesn’t look expensive. The quality of the fabric shows on screen and it doesn’t look good.
Thank y’all for talking about the mush. I was waiting for someone to bring it up. So I could smile to my phone 😭😂
I guess it’s because I’m in my late 40’s but it bugs me when they make comments about queens aging themselves with their makeup or look as if it’s such a bad thing. What’s wrong with wanting to look like a mature diva?! It’s such a problem in our collective way of thinking that a woman aging is something to be avoided & that u should always want to look young cause that’s more attractive. I just wish we could evolve this way of thinking & have more reverence for an attractive older woman who is looking her actual age & not going to great lengths to look younger.
Ugh, you put my exact feelings into words
Bobs hair is EVERYTHING!!
Blame it on the Edit? More like Blame it on the Ethics. RuPaul is gaslighting when she know what she did to Max.
Say it again for the people in the back!
What do you mean? Tell the people from the back.
She probably doesn’t even remember Max 💀
@@RecklessViolet In the snatch game episode during critiques Max gets dizzy and loosens her corset. She starts singing ans the edit makes it seem like she’s acting crazy. However in real life the judges asked her to sing and laughed with her.
@@gunybjarnadottir7870 Thanks for the explanation, and also: how disappointing. Even though I shouldn't be surprised anymore, still feels wrong.
Sidenote, but not completely unrelated: was I the only one who thought Max looked and sounded a lot like Zach Woods ?
River was serving. Love her 💗💗💗
Omg I love both of your looks! Bob's hair is everything, and Monét's beat in boy drag is a mood. 💕
i swear you two get more beautiful every single time i see you
Monet’s make-up 😍 Gurl that eyeshadow look is mesmerizing.
Bob really got me cracking up on this one I love y’all!
Draglexa looks like she knows that trashcan thing detox made on all stars
Bob is a whole ass different woman with this wig on
FIESTY
I thought River's look was the most beautiful tonight. maybe i'm naive but I don't think the judges hyped it up too much
13:49 Monet just casually fixing her make up 🤣
I love these videos. They bring me so much joy
I agree, river looked beautiful but not "expensive". She said red and gold represent wealth in her culture which is fair enough, but we've seen red and gold fabrics of FAR better quality on the show.
Back then (historically) certain fabrics were considered royal 'because' they were expensive to produce. Bright Red, Royal Purple, Gold Thread.
Big same. Everyone keeps defending it as being her culture and as someone with Chinese culture I'm offended lmao we have expensive looking fabrics too!! It doesn't have to look like a Party City fabric aaaa
can somebody crop out Bob's transition from laughing to 😐 at 6:24-6:31 I NEED this as a reaction video
I loved the hair you wore last episode 🥺
No one is talking about Charity lining that outfit in actual teeth. I hoped Bob had me like she usually does
I think CDR2 might be more interesting than UK3 now.
Facts.
Spill bestie
omg is monet wearing the same outfit/top as her entrance look in as7
I agree Completely with your comments on River 🤷🏿♀️ Thanks for saying it.
This episode was Hilarious 😭🤣
Krystal does have a chance to win, but her fan reception is so freaking horrible it would be really hard for her to win now.
But why tho?....
@@AMPRSND grapevine has it that she's a racist.
@@debopriya14 damn
@@debopriya14: No, it's just that people hate on her for being such a strong competitor at that age and what the producers made her do in episode 2. Krystal is the strongest competitor so far and deserves to win based on track record at this point but we'll see.
When I listened to this on Apple podcasts, I knew the exact face Bob was making to describe the face vanity was making.
Its a very British reaction re Scarlett feeling pressured to get over her emotions. We rarely accept anyone having a moment. We either pass it off as keep control, or we ignore someone having a tantrum or talk about their problem and how they need to get over it. British people don't do emotion not in a Dickens way not that bad but the culture is still there.
BOB! You look so good I’m dying !! This look is beautiful 🖤✨
Choriza looks like a 49er mascot
I just wanted to say I 1000% agree with what they said about River. It did not look expensive, the fabric used looked very cheap. It’s clear the judges were scared to criticize it b/c we know how the fans are.
I don’t remember seeing that. I thought she looked the best of anyone.
but since when? they have done the "love the message but not the execution" multiple times
Also- the trick of this runway would be to look expensive on a drag queen budget. I don’t they most of them could afford actually expensive fabric. The fit was correct, and so was the styling and themeing. So then the only critique is that the fabric is cheap then????
@@HelloHelloHellobby The fabric is the traditional she needed to drag it up
@@greynotchristian Since 2020 with BLM and more recently stop Asian hate. They’ve been walking on eggshells when it comes to more cultural items or things that are supposed to have a message.
i love then bob does impressions XD god i love bob
“Fobbed off” usually means to be given a poor excuse for something. For example, “the pizza delivery was late and they fobbed me off with something about there being lots of traffic on the way over”. I guess it could be used to say you’ve been treated like a fool. Anyone from elsewhere in the UK know of any other uses?
Lol, I use a fob to get into my building in 🇨🇦
However, I grew up watch East Enders and Corrie, lol. So, I’m good on most of the slang.
I do appreciate when ‘those in the know’, use slang in a sentence. Helps to make sure we’re all understanding it correctly.
If you're not familiar with Asian culture, you would NOT think River Medway's look is expensive; however, just like what Ms. Medway has had said in her voice over, red and gold is the color of royalty. In my head, she EMBODIED a royal queen walking down the runway. She looked like a living doll. She looked EXPENSIVE and MAJESTIC.
no one gives a fuck, she looked ok
for the past three episodes raven's been turning the makeup you say. she couldnt let krystal show her up.
I’m living for Bob’s wig. Soooo gorge 😍
Living for Bob being all “Cleopatra, comin’ atcha!” 😍
