So many folks giving away damaged speakers and Simply Speakers makes it so easy to put these great speakers back into service. In this day of earbuds it's so much fun when the speakers actually move air.
i hate earbuds. I will use speakers as long as i live.
Thanks guys. You make it look easy and straightforward enough to instill the confidence to resurrect some old '70s stereo equipment, I've been storing since the seventies. First is replacing the Bose 8" Foam Speaker Repair Kit FSK-8 (on order, due in a couple of days) on my Series one Bose 301s and then fixing small dents on the cones. When that's done, I'll bring out my Akai-AM-2800-Intergrated-Amplifier-Stereo (1976) and my vintage Kenwood KD-2055 “Granite” Turntable (1976) except for the belt, all is original and functioning like new. I might look into replacing the cartridge after testing it all out. Everything is still in its original boxes with all the manuals. Can't wait to put it all back to work. Just have rescue my albums before my son absconds with them. May even head to the record store. The advantage now is that after thirty years of military service my hearing is shot, so I don't need to waste money on the "audiophile" issues. (^_^)
