This is simply amazing. Only TWO artist that I'm aware of from the 70's era rock scene who are still performing in 2021 and still singing in their original key and registrations, not missing a beat. That is Mickey Thomas (71) of Elvin Bishop - Starship, and Dennis DeYoung (74) of Styx fame. Both artist had solo offerings but are most associated with their respective groups. Most artist loose their high range abilities as they age but not Mickey or Dennis, both are hotter than ever and keeping their music from the 70's-80's alive for younger generations to experience. Such true inspirations to their craft.

FYI: Mickey originally sang background vocals in a gospel rock group entitled "Gideon and Power".....He basically learned almost every vocal "lick" from that group's leader, Gideon Daniels, who is no longer with us... One interesting note about Mickey....no matter how late we partied on the road....his voice never left him...I was always amazed at that.

    Great capture Sarah!
Great band with really top-notch talent. Mickey Thomas is one of rock's very best vocalists (for... 50 years).
Thank you so much for sharing this!

The best and most powerfully voice in rock n’ roll! Mickey Thomas isn’t underrated, but he definitely doesn’t get the “mentions” that some other vocalists get.

    Simply phenomenal...
He always had a magical vocal range and it's amazing to see and hear him again.
He is better than ever and the band is solid and tight.
Keep rocking and never look back.
The younger generation need to watch and learn as this is how it is done.
    Fantastic performance.......
    I truly hope they tour.
Rap music has nothing on this...
