James - you are going to want to add 2x4s on the bottom of the walls you framed and put up too. Otherwise you will not have anything to nail your dry wall into at the bottom of your walls! Great job!

We are having to follow the guidelines set by the county so we can get the building permitted by the county. But by having the 2x4 framework it also increases the rigidity of the floor.
You are making great progress. I know so well the frustration of having to wait for permits. It’s looking awesome.

I don't understand why you need that wood framework on the floor. Why can't you secure the floor with tapcon screws?
