I can’t believe that old suburban lasted that long!! It will be missed. Glad God blessed you guys with a new one though, and it’s super nice!🤩🤩

The 2011 to 2014 models are the best of the best years. Don’t ever sell that, built lifted ones are highly sought after collectors items. Especially if it’s the Flex Fuel E85 models. :)

Too bad to see the other one go. Very reliable trucks for a pretty long time. I mentioned ours before and it has 183k miles and is going strong. 290k would be a goal of ours👍

Nice, and I like this Suburban/Tahoe interior as well as the Silverado LTZ/Sierra SLT interior of these years the best.

    Nice upgrade!
Have you ever used Maguire's grape scented Tire gel?
I've used it on all my vehicles. Tires, trim. For dash- put on heavy,
leave on overnight. Wipe up access with paper towels.
UV resistant, great grape candy smell. Don't put it on seats or pedals or
steering wheel. It will "float out" years of grime and old protectants.
Far superior to Armor All. I wouldn't use it on door panels, gets on arms
& hands & clothing is bad. 303 protectant is great, too.
Are you going to undercoat it? That'd be a great video.
Get a electric hot plate & old pot. Melt a few toilet rings, mixed with
Bar & Chain oil. Brush or spray it on HOT. Last for years.
Undercoating spray gun at Harbor Freight is $10.
Has it had any "preventative maintenance" done yet? Are you doing it?

I haven't used the tire gel but it does sound interesting. I usually use 303 for stuff like that. I'm not sure if my dad is planning on undercoating, but that is a great suggestion. Rust is the worst! As far as preventative maintenance goes, we haven't done anything besides change oil and transmission fluid. We will probably change the rear differential fluid.

@@carreviewswithjosh8028 Not sure where you buy your supplies,
Amazon is great, but if your order is under $30 you gotta pay S&H.
I try to stock up, so have enough to qualify.
As I stated- slather it on, leave overnight. Years of grime just "floats" up,
then paper towel off the excess. It smell awesome, not like a chemical.
      It's usually around $10 a bottle.

Amazon is kinda pricey, but S&H is included, cause they want $30 a bottle!
Not many people know about it, or use it anymore- because it's expensive,
and the intense grape candy smell (I love it, women love it).

Yea, man- hope your Dad does undercoating- I'll give you my secrets! lol

Overall do you think the Surburbans are more reliable and durable than the Cadillac Escalade???

    • @carreviewswithjosh8028
      @carreviewswithjosh8028  3 года назад +3

Yes, because suburbans are 4x4 and escalades are AWD. It seems that the AWD is harder on the transmission.

@@mercedesbenzs600bashno problem, this only applies up to 2014. In 2015 escalades and suburbans are both 4x4.
