My dude perving hard on Shadowheart
Time for a *DARK URGE* _SALAMI RUN!_
Another honorable mention is the blade wielded by the commander (forgot her name I think she is a black lady) trying to open the burn mining building in walkeens rest. She has a Greatsword with a great magical property if you managed to miss both the everburn blade and the legendary silver sword.
I had all 3 parts of the Mourning Frost, but had no idea what they were for until I right-clicked on one... What a lovely surprise!
I was already into the create water and follow up with ice and lightning strat with my circle of land druid, so it's ideal.
It's also versatile, so I can use it with a shield in my off-hand.
Something I never seen mentioned are the Masterwork weapons. I made the Sussur greatsword for Karlach.
The dmg is meh, but the on-hit silence is a fight winner against many bosses. They can't just move out of it because it's actually applied to them. Just awesome.
My dumbass used the sussur great sword with the boots of Stormy clamor.
The most shocking one was practice sword. A blunt finesse weapon would be great for act 2!
Yeah, it wrecks skellys
it's also not true that its the only way to get bludgeoning damage for sneak attack. in BG3 you can use maces or quarterstaves perfectly fine with sneak attack.
@@JondarKorric odd the wiki and tool tips state you need a finesse weapon to do that.
@@JondarKorricFrom the wiki:
Finesse is a weapon attribute that allows characters to use their Strength or Dexterity (whichever is higher) with the weapon, adding that Ability Modifier to Attack Rolls and Damage Rolls. Only weapons with this attribute can be used for rogue Sneak Attack (Melee) action.
Lists of Finesse Weapons
Rapiers
Scimitars
Shortswords
Daggers
Unique Finesse Weapons
Types of these weapons that do not have the natural trait finesse attribute, but unique samples in the list below still have it. All of them can be used for sneak attack.
Larethian's Wrath - Longsword +1
Phalar Aluve - Longsword +1
The Dancing Breeze - Glaive +2
@@whyareyoubothering there's entire videos on builds that get sneak attacks with non Finesse weapons, and I currently have Shadowheart with a few levels of Rogue, and it allows me to use sneak attack with Blood of Lathander which is decidedly NOT a Finesse weapon.
Svartlebee's Woundseeker at Wakeen's Rest. Command Drop, or kill, Guantlet Yeva for her sword, and make sure to obscure the area the sword lands so you can pick it up without people freaking out on you.
Yes, casting Fog Cloud covers it and causes guys to move away from the door so you can barge in with a hammer and free Florrick.
Make sure to rescue the guy on the left first though.
This can be hard do without practice. Make sure if you want it in honormode you practice elsewhere first
If you make her drop it just before breaking down the door, she’ll leave the sword on the ground - then you can pick it up after the Fist leave.
On a note of the club of hill giant strength you can cast shillelagh and make it a 1d8 weapon and use your spellcasting modifier so its nice to have on a cleric or druid that can have access to this you still have a good 1 handed weapon you still focus on Wisdom and still have a nice strength score for your carrying capacity strength saves and abilities
I am fond of Abdirak's Sacrifical Dagger on dual wielding Thief/Astarion it's on the table next to him. Standard damage but on hit gives 1d4 attack and saving throw untill end of round.
Act 1; Vision of the Absolute is a spear. you get part of it from the owlbear mother, part of it from the guy outside the cave that was critically wounded fighting it. Combine them for the spear and it has a chance to blind any target that you hit with it AND does an extra 2d6 damage for anything with extra eyes. Despite the name, it does not require the Mark of the absolute for the extra oomph like a lot of similarly titled items. it is also dip-able.
Oh, 😮 cool, will try it today, never combined this spear!!
Doesn't work on anything but spectators though, which is stupid.
So thaaaaaat's what that broken spear shaft is for!
@@NotSoHeartBroken I think it's supposed to work on Kar'niss and the spiders. It should anyways.
Considering blindess is a huge debuff/buff. All their attacks at disadvantaged and your team attacks them with advantage.
I actually got the Deva Mace on my first play through, but... I never even looked at it due to the rarity color... I feel pretty stupid now lol
Hamarhraft is kinda dumb if you use it on a monk with high strength and movement, and use the Ki action to dash because then jump doesn't require a bonus action for the rest of your remaining movement. So you can goomba stomp everyone around you... might take a while though.
What you do is have phalur aluve in offhand and cast shriek w main action same turn to double your jump dmg
@@brandondodson2954and use ring of absolute force for 2 more damage. These also the act one gloves that give a free jump on dash to concider
I have 600 hours and several playthroughs, and I still learned about a bunch of things I've missed. Great guide!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed!
Man, that everburn blade is fun to use. Lae'zel wielding with githyanki fury is good fun!
Hill giant club seems a bit naff... But it combos well with Titanstring bow.
What's weird is I think there's the Moon made in mace that also set your strength but it's to 18 instead of 19 which is functionally the same. However I don't remember wearing the game you get it off hand but it is nice knowing the characters that you dump strength on because they don't need it you can give them that for at least carrying capacity, jumping, & even for situations where you would use Tavern brawler but couldn't invest in strength as much as you would like I'm pretty sure...
I think the thing missed about the hill giant club is how it can be used by classes that usually have low STR. The monk can just hold it and still use unarmed attacks and tavern brawler, for example, or a throwing build that uses Warlock to add returning to a weapon can hold this in their off hand and dump STR to 8.
This is an excellent offhand weapon for builds that want to focus a different stat, but still benefit from STR.
I'm watching this at April 1st so, when you suggested 'salami', right after the training sword, I had to reassure I was not watching an April fools video...
You missed one absolutely amazing sword that you can get early in Act 1. You can get a Very Rare +2 Longsword, versailte and dippable, which does 1d8/1d10 +1d4 psychic with an added 1d4 vs githyanki, aberrations, fiends, and elementals, and also a once per long rest Wrathful Smite. This is Voss' Silver Sword which you can get from Kith'rak Voss when you approach him by the bridge just west of Waukeen's Rest, if you cast Command-Drop on him at the right moment and just pick up his sword before he flies away as soon as the conversation ends.
I think that was skipped because Voss will give you it later in Act 3 if you follow that questline.
@@odaviing3871 Maybe so. Nonetheless, the fact that you can get it right near the start of Act 1 is amazing and worth sharing with people, if you're bothering to compile a list of cool weapons you can find in game.
You can also get it off Voss via the Trade dialogue option in the cutscenes he's talking to a character
The trick for the mace and the scimitar also works for lorroakans Myrmidons. Each has a different strike, which you can do as an attack, that adds a d10 of their elemental damage to the weapon damage and also applies an effect to the enemy. Those are: Burn for Mr. Fire, Chilled for Mr. Water and Stunned for Mr. Air (The Earth one doesn't have a weapon). If you have these weapons in the off-hand (which you cant do for Mr. Water's) you can even do the strike with your main hand weapon, on each attack. That makes for the easiest chain stun in the game that I am aware of.
The only problem is that the strike lacks an animation and, for me at least, is a bit laggy.
Just a heads up. Secret Weapon 8 is lacking the finesse tag so it uses str instead of dex. On a conventional rogue you'd gain 1d4 but lose your dex mod or worse gain a -1 from your bad strength score.
Unicorn's Rest playing in the background sure was a blast from the past.
Worth noting for the Duke Ravenguard's Longsword, it's effectively a +2 Weapon for Pact of the Blade Warlocks due to the +1 enchantment and +2 to Charisma which will increase your attack/damage modifiers of your pact weapon by +1.
I think I accidentally nullified the stool by having a sussar bloom animatic field go over it. Just for saving stress on future play throughs, don’t do that 😅
The only time flaming sphere was useful to me was accidentally burning that stool with the club of hill giants strength
xDDDDD nice
Hill Giant Club can also get you much farther jumps, Wyll constantly carries it on him so if he cant make a jump he can switch to the club
THIS is a good tip. Thanks. Wyll always be getting left behind after jumps and I never notice till I'm in combat lol
Only item I didn't know about was the training sword in the Druid's Grove. I'll definitely be picking those up just in case for the Grym fight, if I bring along Astarion.
Brilliant content Spud, many thanks. 769 hours played (just checked!), Deva & Djinni were great finds; always ignored CorpseGrinder too. Take care & all the best foe the new year. Sub time!
FYI, the Stool of Hill Giant Strength is now the OTHER stool. (Standing upright, under the counter)
Great stuff. Thanks for making such a detailed guide!!
Some of these are definitely secret, I'm not sure if a sword that a guy you'll likely meet just sells/drops is necessarily THAT big of a secret, but nice video nonetheless!
I think a good addition for a solid 20 would be Nyrulna, since you actually have to talk to a guy (the circus djinni), figure out what he's doing, then figure out how to outsmart him, then confront him and find the weapon😅I've watched 10+ streamers do the whole circus area, and only 2 actually found the weapon, so I'm guessing most casual players miss it as well. But then again most legendary weapons are pretty hard to find, so perhaps that should be a whole other video.
Larian recently released the "I've been attacked by a dinosaur" stats so some people must be finding it... it pairs very nicely with Karlach and the good Barb armour you can get from the perky gold dragonborn in Rivington, and when I get to House of Hope I will also put the 23 con thing on her and she will be nigh on unhittable killing machine
@@zoefarr2600lol this is my build for karlach. She has the gauntlets of hill giant strength and the amulet of greater health, using nyrulna. Also have the caustic band equipped for a little extra damage. It’s pretty busted. Raphael died in like 3 turns.
You have to pass a skill check to see the djinni is cheating. I was lucky enough to spot it on my first playthrough, so I know what to do. But you still need to survive Chult.
@@srellison561 or steal the ring off him first and send your sneakiest person to spin the wheel...
On runs where i dont take gales hand, ill give him the hillgiant club, its his bonking stick for when hes out of spellslots or when i need a packmule
deep delver is not just 1-4 extra damage, it produces phantom strike (rare and very important effect! the another weapon w same effect is 2h axe that adds 1-4 dmg when hit points are below 50%) that stacks with multiple "on hit" effects (lighting charges etc). Also, any attack that produces phantom strike (pally thunder smite for i.e. which do 2 attacks in one) will double proc deep delver and all procs will benefit from "on hit" effects. Also, pally smite that procs on crit hits (reaction) will also produce extra deep delver effect. Orc + dual-wielding + deep delver + staff of lightning charges + 2 levels of pally (to get all smites) = ez 200 dmg per round w/o crits (400+ if something crits). You literally need nothing except deep delver and 2 lvls of palladin to annihilate the game.
wow, you mean it's not just 1d4, but also kinda second attack? O_O Need to test it right away !
As long as your main hand weapon is finesse your fists can get sneak attack. While wielding weapons a monk is can use Martial Arts: Bonus Unarmed Strike, flurry of blows, unarmed stunning strike, and Ki Resonation: Punch (open hand only).
When I opened the chest beneath the temple, I used an ascended Astarion. He did not summon those angels..but two Chambions instead…I didn’t notice if they had similar high damage dice trident weapons, but it might be worth investigating.
It depends on your alignment. Dark Urge and Shar Shadowheart will also trigger cambions. You just have to use another character to steal the items. As for damage, the tridents are just basic tridents, nothing special
Cambions tridents is weak, but yeah, there are some characters that can summon them. If im bot mistaken, oathbreaker and tieflings
Getting Deva Mace and Djinni Scimitar doesn't look intentional at all, but they are so cool tho
i missed 80% of these weapons, idk about the other 20% because my mind goes blank whenever this guy shows shadowheart's ass
🤣🤣
I don't know what deal this man has made, but for some reason all his videos bypass youtube locking down my browser for using an adblocker
Lol, i doing nothing 🤣
19:58 Noted other benefit, since it's a light club you can cast shillelagh on it and attack with it using your spellcasting stat.
Oh yeah, still i guess 19 str will be more than spellcasting stat at this point in the game
Happy to have seen this vid 🥰 been wanting to watch new content on bg3
Keep up the good work king! I enjoy your BG3 content
Thanks 😊 Will do
I was really surprised when I found a Katana at Act 3. I imediatelly started using, even if it was weaker than all my weapons.
Ive been running a wizard with the dual weild feat. Rotating out staves after i use the spell. Morning Frost is awesome in the off hand to smack anybody that gets close using my bonus action. It has the best melee damage of wizard staves.
Dion theme hit me like a truck out of nowhere
Good video, thanks! Thought we were heading very downhill with the opening weapon 😂. Several here that I had no clue existed and the practice sword thing is genius! With it following soon after everburn I was like bahhhhh this guy is taking the piss....... Ohhhhh that's a great idea 😂!
Yeah, i guess everburn was unnecessary :0
You don't even need to travel back to shore to get Jorgoral's greatsword. If you let him hop on your boat and you both go to Grymforge, he will end up being in the fight with Nere, and you can just kill him there if you would prefer that.
Oh , that's nice
Those last two items are wild.
Hamrahaft is one of the few weapons that will vanish if you don't find it quickly enough after entering the area. Worth a mention?
Yeah? It will be gone in fire? O_O
It actually doesn’t burn up. I went back late into act two. The treasure chest it’s in is totally destroyed. But if you use the keybind that displays items names, sure enough there it will be just laying there on the floor where the chest was in the top corner of that room
That's a change from earlier patches then, because it always use to vanish for me (I practically have alt pressed all the time) @@andym6778
You can buy loviatar's mace, but once you do send it to your camp. If not and you go to be whips and chains make me happy, he'll take the mace off you from your inventory.
You can also pickpocket it from him before the event but once he starts hitting you he has it equipped and you can't pickpocket it any more. I think if you knock him out or kill him he'll still drop it.
A game created to have things left unfound for at least a decade lol
I bet there is a cutscene with so much put into it that has gone undiscovered.
Everburn is just a greatsword with permanent dip in fire
Nice at the start of the game, or for RP, but early in act 1 there are better twohanded weapons such as Blooded Great axe
you missed another one in the underdark in act 1, i forgot what its called, but its a long sword with a class action of sing, which you can either buff your part, or debuff your enemies, its really neat, i used it for my bard, its in a stone and you gotta pass a few checks to pull the sword out
It's the Phalar Aluve, and it is stuck in a rock. My Drow Paladin used it for a while and it's pretty great.
@@secondconflict570 it's also finesse so it can be good on a rogue
I now understand why everyone romances shadow heart.
Great video +for the lineage music
There is a way to coat the flame sword in poison. Dont remember the name but will look up when i get home. Necklace or gloves that if equipped, when healed, coats the targets weapon in poison. It does both poison and fire damage BUT you LOOSE the flame visuals on the sword until you equip it on another character
I really want to see someone do a run using the practice sword and shield would be a interesting run
Im thinking about dojng it after dark urge, but leaning towards 4 wildmagic sorcerers
@@TheSpudKingwild magic sorcerers, practice swords and sausage clubs, the 4 devilfoil masks
Fiend Warlocks also get command at lvl 1 to get the everburn blade.
Shadowheart can also use command if you go into her spellbook and choose it before the combat
Outside the gnoll cave in acr 1 on a corpse is speedy reply, a rapier than grants momentum on hit nice early weapon
Lol the camera. my man
0:39 “Pommel Strike so you can use a homosexual to do additional damage”
Freudian phonetic misunderstanding. It didn't sound like that at all, lol
I have 600 hrs and even beat honor mode. I learned things here. That club of hill strength. Never knew about it.
the last 2 is a big brain move. can you make a video about each companion exclusive item? like wyll has his special rapier in his questline
Will research 😉 if there is enough, will definitely do, but i guess only will kinda get it. And Shadowheart in Act2
But Gale have special buff when fight coin boss etc. I think ther are even some we still didnt discover or its not "know" in community. @@TheSpudKing
Great video, some cool randoms I hadn't seen before. Really surprised you didn't have the Legendary Silver Sword of the Astral Plane that you can get very early on in Act 1 from Kith'rak Voss at the bridge. Command him to drop it or disarming strike, steal it and off you go. One of the best weapons in the game
You should probably equip some armor on Shadowheart, her AC is gonna be really crappy like this.
no no just pack extra potions and enjoy the view
Bruh that Everburn sword is perfect for a sword wielding warlock. Strength goes to charisma and with a little pack of the blade you can wield it being deadly in Act 1 and 2 with close and long range.
Poor Shadowheart freezing her butt...
Happy Holidays Spud King
Happy holidays Kitsune! :)
Flaming salami? That's a new one for me!
Oh dude, this music from Lineage II brings me back so good memories…
No need to long rest for the Deva mace. Just pick up the corpse and take the mace off of the corpse by equiping it.
Its no longer on them
@@TheSpudKing you have to pick up the corpse and then click on your weapon slot, it will give you the option to select the deva mace from there and then once you have it you can drop the corpse.
@@cytokinest0rmthis still works and I love you for saying it bc you saved my build. 🙌🏾
Scythe of Myrkul. Can get that by using force swapping clubs found by the dungeon dock.
Interesting, never got that!

this is a video of how to get any unobtainable boss weapon. In Chinese though. Haven't seen one in English.
But the scythe might have been patched.
You can do both mountain pass and underdark in one playthrough.
yeah i was wondering if most players did both or not ? seems better to go both to get the Forge gears but also the Dex bracelets and Lathander mace
If you change the Deity you want in your class every time will there be a different outcome with the weapon and monster
Yeah, there is deva mostly, 3 deitys will summon djinni, and i guess some races can summon cambion
Last question do you know what DNTI would have to choose to get the campion.
I appreciate the help
Deva’s Mace, huh? Okay. Thanks for the info! I’m on Xbox, so stuff like this is valuable information, seeing as we only just got the game.
i thought this list contains the same level of secret weapons as the emperor staff, and end up it's not even there lol
You're so wrong about the Hamarhraft. It's one of the most if not the most OP weapon in game. Just as low level, combine it with lv2 monk dush, jump on cost 3m movement speed. and after lv5 casters can cast Fly or when you got fly potion/fly scroll, everything die within your turn, even your turn take 5mins to finish.
Another brilliant video. Happy Holidays whichever you celebrate
Thanks 😊 and you too, have a nice holidays!!
another cool one you missed Ive never seen mention is the fireball wand in the underdark right before the boat to grymforge. Found it on my 2nd play threw today on the dead deep gnomes body and its pretty neat. But I guess tech its not equip able so it wouldnt have made the list as a "weapon"
I put that on karlach and get her surrounded on purpose. 😂 boom!
Nice L2 music bro, love that game
awesome video, thx :)
0:16 thats not "20 bonus dmg dealt". Thats "possible" 20 bonus dmg dealt. May as well be 2 bonus dmg dealt. Rolling 2 d10s doesnt mean you get both 10s
Spud you could have mentioned Svartlebees Woundseeker in Waukeens Rest. I know you will most likely get it if you are doing a evil run but you can still get it if you are doing a good run.
Oh, that one really should've on the list too!!
Jumpy hammer (deadly Pogo stick) can be effective on a monk with step of the wind (unlimited jumps in 1 turn). If you maximize your movement then you can jump (short distances) > 10 times per turn. One downside is I think some on hit triggers do not work when you are jumping with the hammer but... Still funny to kill NPC with a Pogo stick
You did shart dirty on that thumbnail
You forgot the "Poo Scraper" and "Nut buster"
Oh yeah, my favourite :)
you do a great job 😊
Well the Ravengard sword is a little bit tricky to get if you want Wyll on your team or if you're playing a good guy/girl he use to have it equiped in the Iron Throne, but not anymore
The title was interesting but thumbnail is so clickbait-ish I don't even want to watch the video anymore
Without the enchantment +5 the scimitar actually exists so
Bludgeoning sneak attacks for the win 😂
don't need to be cleric, can go warlock too btw for command
And Paladin.
devs use these videos to find what to nerf until nothing matters

I didn't know about Ravengaurds sword or the Djinn scimitar
Scimitar probably will be fixed :(
You can actually pickpocket weapon 8, Booals blessing and then go through the chat dialogue and he'll give you the buff as his "blessing" instead of the weapon and you wont have to sacrifice someone for it. ;)
pls tell me how to pickpocket it Q_Q
@@AnnieChouette So what I did was I crouched the entire group, make sure to bring the characters you want to have the buff.
I buffed Astarion with "not bless but the other guidance or something like that?"
I crouched and walked over to the far right with Tav and Astarion and climbed down via the fish net.
Then I walk up to just before being in LoS to start the dialogue with Tav and Astarion. I use an invisibility potion with Astarion.
I save scummed like a mother fucker right here.
Then I jump into the group as close to the idle as I can with Tav so the group doesn't turn around.
Once into the group, I hit the button on the left bottom corner of the screen to swap to another party member that isn't stuck in dialogue (Astarion).. I crouch up to the main fish guy and pickpocket the stupid sickle thing in the inventory.
Then with some luck you'll get that, now the next part isn't necessary but what I did to prevent from being caught..
Once I've got the sickle, I immediately drank another invisibility potion. and high tailed it the fuck outa there on Astarion.
Then go through the dialogue options with your Tav where they would normally give you the sickle. I'm sorry I don't remember them on hand, (I think you're forced to win at least one check on persuasion here)..
Then when you've went that route and it doesn't have the sickle to give you, you will be given the buff by default to all current party members.
Disclaimer: If you choose not to drink the second invisibility potion, they will run up to you at SOME POINT with the usual, you've been caught stealing/pickpocketing dialogue and you don't want to have to kill them.
@@Genuinely_Vague thats super nice, thx for that ^^
and actually ... i figured that almost exact same method out myself, right after i asked u XD just without the 2nd invispotion, i just straight ran out and climbed up the wall out of that area XD
and i actually triggered the dialog BEFORE i gone stealing, was a bit tricky to not get caught but astarion is SUCH a good char for that ^^ well the fish has noticed that hes been robbed, ended the dialog and followed astarion, but well he was gone up the wall ^^
so i started the dialog again and got the buff for all my members without sacrificing SO COOL !!
but thanks anyways for ur reply, i very much appreciate that, not only for me but for others, who r interested in how to steal it too
@@AnnieChouette To be honest, I think the scene being cancelled would mean if someone wanted to play without Ast they could steal it, leave for camp and come back with the other party member they wanted. I hadn’t even considered that.
3:11 Sounds like Brad Pitt in Inglourious Basterds speaking Italian 😂
Oh yeah a katana and an awesome scimitar
500 hours in the game and I never knew how to get to Booal. Also I wonder if other cleric deities have summons that drop other weapons?
No, they "always equipped" now, so its unable to do ;( there was a.cool.bow from skeleton archers, but its same story now
Last two items are so OP!
Omg, i thought first that i'm tripping, i really heard L2 music, u made my day ❤
