It's not the easiest to find succinct stories in the vast universe of 40k so I'm very grateful for your hard work.
An Imperial Guardsman, a Space Marine, and an Inquisitor walk into a bar. The Guardsman says "ow." The Marine breaks right through the bar with his reinforced skull. The Inquisitor accuses the bar of heresy. When the bar refuses to confess or even move despite sustained torture, the Inquisitor executes the Guardsman for failing to defeat the bar in combat.
I love that Guiliman has ultra depression, and because of the psychic backlash any chapter with ultramarine geneseed are also slowly getting ultra depression. In the grim darkness of the future, we all cope, seethe, mald. 😕
You wake up from a coma after 10000 years. You are immediately attacked by a horde of chaos marines. Then immediately have to go through the warp where you are captured only to be freed by some seemingly random marine. You then fight your estranged brother on the moon. You then run into dad who treats you like a lost wrench and is more or less a monster. You find out then that everything you fought for is now a giant mass of awful and stands for everything you hate and fought against. I would have ultra depression too

@@kaiyne316 Blood Angels are the legion of Sanguinious. i think its unclear so far about the blood ravens origins and their Primarch , but i was under the impression there was suspicions they were originated from a traitor legion during the horus heresy, the remnants of those that didnt turned traitor, probably a thousand sons given the higher number of librarians they create after gene seed implantation. So the implication being Magnus the red be their Primarch. The theory suggests that during the Horus heresy, he sent a several number of his legion away from prospero, before the space wolves arrive in attempt to save them.
Even a Primark would be hard pressed to tell a story with such Power and Gravitas you truly are a paragon and master of the spoken word. Thank you Baldermort.
These old eyes and bones aren't what they used to be but the mind still hungers. Your offerings are like a buffet for starving senses. They make hard days seem easier. Essentially, they enable a mindset more apt to engage in time for FUN. Most appreciated Good Storyteller.
I still can't understand why GW didn't just made these books widely available. Either the Gathering Storm series or the Arks of Omen series just can't be bough by most people. And it makes absolutely no sense at all, being such pivotal for lore developments. GW is pretty much denying the fanbase the chance to read about how Cadia fell, the galaxy was split in halve, what Abaddon has been doing, the potential 5th Chaos god appearing or how two Primarchs have returned to the Imperium.
The idea that when Guilliman awoke his return was shouted from every rooftop is so epic Just imagine being a traitor and hearing from every corner, every vox channel, every rooftop, churchbells ringing, shouted triumphantly on the battlefield a demigod has returned to send you to oblivion after 10,000 years of slumbering

The great amout of sadness, shock, anger, and despair of Guilliman at the state of the imperium is just chilling. They did very well in humanizing him, even better when he dragged himself out of it.

What always boggles my mind is how (relatively) low you subscriber count is, content of this quality and passion deserves have a larger audience, your content has pulled me deeper down the lore and history of 40k and I have recently started the hourus heresy because of this and my desire to learn more, thanks for all that you have put out and I can't wait for the next video

Never played the tabletop, discovered warhammer through Henry caville & his obsession. I am slowly navigating the lore and what a fucking awesome journey it has been.
Same here kinda, never played tabletop but saw a trailer for warhammer 1 (fantasy game) and ended up becoming deeply invested in that lore and game, which led to trying to figure out what this “warhammer 40k” thing was ‘that was named after the game I play’ now I’m buying models and slowing building a tyranid army and listening to audiobooks everyday
The last minute or so of this is some of the best kind of writing. It makes you as a listener want to join the crusade and save the imperium even tho it’s just a story, you lose yourself for a minute or two.
I am truly blessed to be able to have this on at work while working nighrshifts. Another amazing video brother, thank you for all your hard work, it is truly appreciated by all of us 🙏.
This channel is magnificent! Thank you for taking your time doing the narration! I remember reading this book the first time - moment when Roboute was resurrected, I was sure that he was going to be a husk of his former self. But after reading the line that the shrine is suddenly filled with pressure of his Primarch aura, I immediately thought that it was not the case. I also always find it funny that seconds after his resurrection, he already knew what has happened and was already pissed off by it xD
I recently started watching 40k lore on RUclips and this is by far the most engaged I've been. Absolutely excellent narration. I find myself creating incredible images in my mind only to have them become reenforced and expanded upon by the wonderful illustrations that accompany the narration. This is why RUclips was created so we could enjoy masterpieces of art like this. Thank you for your hard work.

As ive been in a groove , listening to another lore channel i absolutely love, this is the 1st channel outside tbat one tbat ive been enamored with. Now i have TWO great 40k lore channels
3 hours in. I catch myself entering the world you narrate every so often. I watch Lueten09's videos alot. I enjoy the lore dumps he gives us. But your storytelling skills brings 40k lore to new hights for me. Thanks for being you Baldy.
I feel like it may have been more dramatic if Gulliman would have somehow been able to free himself of the bonds which were majicked upon him, as they had come from his own human frailties. Perhaps it may have just been a bit much too, piling on more glorification to an already very glorified person in the setting, but much like the way Vulkan was able to bout with his inner madness at the tender mercies of Curze, if Gulliman could have emerged victorious over a binding constructed of his own inner conflicts I feel like it could have gone a long way to justifying alot of the glory and onus of heroism which sometimes seems almost more than even the mighty shoulders of a primarch can support.
this is like the glorious video on Rogal Dorn, though perhaps not quite as moving and centered around a single figure since it's the campaign supplement. Still, none could do it greater justice than the sublime voice of Baldermort! Thanks so much for this banquet of a video!

For a long time, I waited for the video for the last part of the gathering storm trilogy. I almost lost hope, I thoguht that our humble servant might have forever put focus on other, might endevours. But then I saw it in my feed, and my heart weept. But I knew the time was not right, no, a video like this needed the proper state of mind and amount of time to be given it's full deserving honors. So I was strong, for almost two weeks I denied myself the video and it's glorious pleasures, for I knew that today, the day of my long awaited holiday leave, would be the time for these glorious words of Baldemort! What always boggles my mind is how (relatively) low you subscriber count is, content of this quality and passion deserves have a larger audience, your content has pulled me deeper down the lore and history of 40k and I have recently started the hourus heresy because of this and my desire to learn more, thanks for all that you have put out and I can't wait for the next video

Never played the tabletop, discovered warhammer through Henry caville & his obsession. I am slowly navigating the lore and what a fucking awesome journey it has been.
Same here kinda, never played tabletop but saw a trailer for warhammer 1 (fantasy game) and ended up becoming deeply invested in that lore and game, which led to trying to figure out what this “warhammer 40k” thing was ‘that was named after the game I play’ now I’m buying models and slowing building a tyranid army and listening to audiobooks everyday
The last minute or so of this is some of the best kind of writing. It makes you as a listener want to join the crusade and save the imperium even tho it’s just a story, you lose yourself for a minute or two.
Always a new video when I’ve finished rewatching every other video yet again. Awesome. Thank you!

I remember reading this book the first time - moment when Roboute was resurrected, I was sure that he was going to be a husk of his former self. But after reading the line that the shrine is suddenly filled with pressure of his Primarch aura, I immediately thought that it was not the case. I also always find it funny that seconds after his resurrection, he already knew what has happened and was already pissed off by it xD

I recently started watching 40k lore on RUclips and this is by far the most engaged I've been. Absolutely excellent narration. I find myself creating incredible images in my mind only to have them become reenforced and expanded upon by the wonderful illustrations that accompany the narration. I feel like it may have been more dramatic if Gulliman would have somehow been able to free himself of the bonds which were majicked upon him, as they had come from his own human frailties. Perhaps it may have just been a bit much too, piling on more glorification to an already very glorified person in the setting, but much like the way Vulkan was able to bout with his inner madness at the tender mercies of Curze, if Gulliman could have emerged victorious over a binding constructed of his own inner conflicts I feel like it could have gone a long way to justifying alot of the glory and onus of heroism which sometimes seems almost more than even the mighty shoulders of a primarch can support.
You have a real talent for the dramatic opus. Bravo my brother bravo!

For a long time, I waited for the video for the last part of the gathering storm trilogy. I almost lost hope, I thoguht that our humble servant might have forever put focus on other, might endevours. But then I saw it in my feed, and my heart weept. But I knew the time was not right, no, a video like this needed the proper state of mind and amount of time to be given it's full deserving honors. So I was strong, for almost two weeks I denied myself the video and it's glorious pleasures, for I knew that today, the day of my long awaited holiday leave, would be the time for these glorious words of Baldemort!
