Christian brainwashing is unimaginably important to the Cult of Christianity! Invisible enemies and a fear of eternal hellfire are not clinical paranoia - a serious mental illness - but a fun filled roller coaster ride to insanity/heaven. You must be proud of the 200,000 raped altar boys - which proved that God was too drunk to protect them and that Jesus Christ was too busy playing computer games while Christian Holy Men raped the anuses of the 200,000 altar boys.

I really wish Collins and Baden had a RUclips channel, even if it was just was used for playlists of every video they have on RUclips, between mythvision, Yale divinity (which has awesome courses, esp Collins one on prophets is a must watch, as is Badens set on the early books in the Torah which is still going on), the mythvision videos, and even like the random ones from churches Badens and Collins have talked at where there's criminally like under 200 views on...
All because RUclipss search is terrible when trying to find all their videos
Because man, if I had the money and the time when they were both part of Yale divinity I would have went, as when you wanna talk about Torah/Pentateuch studies, they're scholarly dream team
Also there's something really cool about watching them both talk together that ends up bringing out way more than you expected to learn... As in a previous mythvision video has Collins ask "I wonder what Badens answer to this question was" just shows how they really do have an interest in talking about a topic, and are curious what the other would say, like they're two close drinking buddies trying to keep a conversation going just out of passion for the topic

I have a hypothesis about Paul. Saul was on itinerant tent maker and possibly a Pharisee that quickly caught on to the idea of telling stories about this Jewish dissident called jeshua and his merry band of followers. Knowing full well that he wouldn't be fact checked due to distance and the Roman army flattening Jerusalem and Palestine. He cashed in on the donations the churches raised and when others came to his turf wrote shitty letters telling them not to believe them. It just took off from there till the emperor got the drop on them all and the church state dominated the competition.

He became dissident and was on the run in Arabia and urgently needed money as every refugee does.

  • @jdaze1
    @jdaze1 Год назад +1

When Paul was referring to "freedom from the law" he meant the RITUALS of the law that never brought holiness nor righteousness. Such as the feast days, circumcision, new moon celebrations, sacrifices and oblation. What remains in the Jer 31 RENEWED covenant is the 10 commandments and the rules regarding what to do if we break one those 10 laws. So its freedom from works of flesh that can never make a person holy. Instead its the works of the spirit that gives us power to keep the 10 commandments easily because we have a change of heart. Circumcision of the carnal flesh or death to SELF. Its pretty simple to live in the new covenant but man has always wanted to make slaves out everyone to control them by ridiculous rituals which make no difference to God and in fact he hates.

Well this is what G-d says. The laws are an everlasting covenant, for a thousand generations, always and forever.
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations. Deuteronomy 7:9
Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway. Deuteronomy 11:1
These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe ... all the days that ye live upon the earth. Deuteronomy 12:1
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations ... an everlasting covenant. 1 Chronicles 16:15
Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth. Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever. Psalm 119:151-2
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. Psalm 119:160
God will curse you if you don't obey his commandments.
Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day: And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God. Deuteronomy 11:26-28
Keeping the commandments is the whole duty of every human.

I think new words needs to be invented to properly describe Jesus's alleged apostles (messengers). I suggest "prepostles" to describe those with a preposterous message, and "postpostles" like Paul who shoehorned themselves into the narrative and hijacked the messenger role, so that Pauline presumptuousness eventually got crowned as Christianity. The Papacy qualifies eminently as postpostolic pretense.

Pau was a false apostle. Barnabas completely fell out with Paul in the New Testament. Paul himself writes that he was rejected by everybody in Asia:
2 Timothy 1:15. This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.

Paul says, “This thou knowest,” which clearly shows that the disciples already knew that he was rejected by Asia. Paul did not say that Asia had rejected Jesus or Barnabas. The disagreements between Paul and those in leadership are reported:
Acts 19:8-9. And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.
But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.
According to the Book of Revelations, Ephesus was one of the seven churches located in Asia. This is what Jesus said to the church of Ephesus, the very church where Paul tried to witness:
Revelation 2:2. I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
After Paul returned to Jerusalem, James informed him about complaints being made against him. This complaints included that he had been teaching Jewish believers to stop circumcising their sons and stop observing the Torah.
These were people with a strong understanding of God’s message who tried to maintain the purity and clarity of His teachings - that they should worship God alone and follow His commandments.
However, we all know Paul did teach against this and didn’t believe in keeping the Law. So, it is clear he was going against James and the church at the time. He provided no proof of what he claimed to receive.
James and the elders of the church at Jerusalem asked Paul to join four Jewish men in completing a Nazarite vow, which included performing an animal sacrifice. Yes, there were still sacrificing animals long after Jesus had ascended to Heaven:
Acts 21:21. And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs.
Paul complied and did the rites of purification with the four men:
Acts 21:26. Then Paul took the men, and the next day purifying himself with them entered into the temple, to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification, until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.
Some of the Jews from Asia saw Paul at the temple. They stirred up the crowd, dragged him out, and tried to kill him. Paul was rescued by Roman soldiers who then arrested him, as they knew he had many enemies in Jerusalem:
Acts 21:27-32. 27.And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews which were of Asia, when they saw him in the temple, stirred up all the people, and laid hands on him,
Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men everywhere against the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.
(For they had seen before with him in the city Trophimus an Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.)
And all the city was moved, and the people ran together: and they took Paul, and drew him out of the temple: and forthwith the doors were shut.
And as they went about to kill him, tidings came unto the chief captain of the band, that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.
Who immediately took soldiers and centurions, and ran down unto them: and when they saw the chief captain and the soldiers, they left beating of Paul.
This is why you will rarely see the Christian church discuss the trial of Paul. The story of Paul has been swept under the carpet and remains largely forgotten.
He told people they did not need to follow God’s laws, even though Jesus taught people to obey God’s commandments. The following verses clearly states that if anyone breaks the Law or teaches others to break the Law until the Day of Judgement, they will be called the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven:
Matthew 5:17-19. 17 17. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

To clarify Paul seemed to think that Gentiles, and seemingly Jews, were not obligated to Torah of Moses but instead to Torah of Messiah.
His message spreading focus seemed to mainly be toward Gentiles, to remind them that they were never under Torah of Moses to begin with and that they are still under no obligation to it, only to the teaching of Jesus. He was passionate about Jewish Christians respecting Christian Gentiles in that regard.
He didn't seem to have a a focus on going to Jews and telling them to stop keeping Torah, as Acts states he agreed to do, but they inevitably were caught in the crossfire. It would be hard not to if he goes from synagogue to synagogue (to find Gentile God-fearers). Jews would inevitably hear his message and the ones who pressured Gentiles into obeying Torah of Moses would inevitably fight and hate him.

How is trying to take a frank look at history deceit? How is talking about religion rebellious? How is having experts in their fields talk a "lack of knowledge?" Your comment, like your religion, just doesn't stand up to even a tiny bit of logical scrutiny.

@@VAATAUSILI4139 you're just asserting that I have a lack of knowledge. It seems quite likely that my knowledge of early Christianity far eclipses yours. Your reasoning about earthly parents and heavenly parents is utterly fallacious. Keep in mind you're talking to somebody who was a Christian, who felt the holy Spirit, who talked to God, I used to believe all of that. You keep saying heavenly mother are you talking about Yahweh's supposed wife? Wouldn't that be considered heretical by today's standards?
