This is Griff, he used to be in a band called Botfly, which honestly was one of the best bands I've ever heard live. They have a myspace tribute page everyone should check out. Griff is one of the best I've ever heard. The Botfly stuff is amazing, and you should check it out before you knock him.

I read a good portion of these comments and found them highly amusing. Naturally, you have the folks that just enjoy watching and listening to Griff play without attempting to impersonate a music critic. Then there are those folks who read to much into, say the title of a RUclips video, and then want to pretend that they're harmonica experts and point out all the things they dislike about the way Griff plays. This is clearly just a short clip of Griff messing around with his harmonica and in no way a good representation of his skills when performing an actual song. I suggest listening to some of the material he performed with Verve Pipe to get a better idea of his talent.

I'll have to tell him that someone said he looks like George Clooney whenever I see him again. I actually know this guy. Griff. Hes on tour with The Verve Pipe now (you can check the wiki). One of my mom's friends. I see him every once in awhile when my mom's "crowd" all gets together. Really nice guy.

Also, to those who do criticize...ever been in a band? Ever played a gig period? It's easy to sit in your basement and convince yourself your the best harp player or whatever, but if you're not working, it's just a hobby! It's not about whose better. Anyone who plays is deserving of respect, and trust me Griff has more experience than 99% of you.

People are raggin' on this guy for being fast, no soul, whatever... He's damn good. It's not like he's running up and down endless arpeggios or anything. He's pretty damn funky and if there was a band behind him playing along you wouldn't be saying the same thing.
What about our own Jean ''Toots'' Thielemans who died today? I consider him as the best Jazz and blues player on the harmonica. But above all he was so humble that he was forgotten in the lists, even when he worked with Icons like Miles Davis, Benny Goodman and Ella Fitzgerald. He was also a great guitar player and whistler and made music for films. His ''Bluesette'' is world known.
Roger Wauters I never forger Toots. He stands alone. Calling him better or worse than anyone dishonors the magnificence of Toots. He’s my favorite jazz harp player.
