another really good cypher trick is to use your trip wire as a distraction rather than to trap enemies. place a trip you know the enemy will shoot. as soon as they do swing the corner as they'll have to readjust their aim onto you after shooting the trip wire. works well against single enemies that like to roam or in clutch 1v1 situations
For me as a Yoru main, it was leaving your TP somewhere safe or that you knew would be secured while you're in your ult, so you dont stay in those awkwards spots. It wasnt a big game changer but at least it improved my Yoru gameplay. The other thing that made me better is a trick, in that most of the map areas have hidden guidelines for headshot crosshair placement, once you find them, you just align your crosshair and tap tap
@@aminafnan1659 depends..... I honestly do not try to replicate him but rather see his gameplays and tty to understand what he thinks and think the same way🙂
The biggest change I made was crosshair placement. I’ve always been one of those players who kinda just ran in without a real plan and adapted to the situation on the spot but recently I’ve slowed down and held tight peaks with crosshair at head level and I’ve gone from bronze 2 to gold 3 in 1 week!!
My crosshair placement was so bad when i was in iron/bronze. To get out of that elo i tried to aim for head level and that got me to gold 3!!! crosshair placement is really important guys
The biggest change I made was my mouse DPI. I used to have mine at 3000, which I was comfortable with for everyday stuff, but in fps games I found my mouse moving everywhere. A friend of mine told me most pros use 400-800 and so I worked to gradually reduce the DPI I was used to until now when I use 400 on the regular. My gameplay in all fps games has improved immensely as a result.
Pros use 400, 800, and 1600 DPI, but your DPI isn't all that important. What matters is your eDPI (DPI * in-game sens). Choose an eDPI that let's you perform at least a full 180 from one side of your mousepad to the other (ideally with a mousepad that's a bare minimum of 12 inches). For reference, the vast majority of Valorant pros use between 200 and 400 eDPI. I also wouldn't recommend 400 DPI, because it makes everyday computer use a chore. Instead, use 800 or 1600 and divide your in-game sens by 2 or 4, respectively.
The biggest change I just learned how to accept defeat and try to learn from them, there was a saying that "The thing that differentiates a rookie from a pro is that a pro has made more mistakes than a rookie has ever tried." It wasn't always about winning the games but rather improving my gameplay overall.
Honestly, pretty proud to know I haven't been falling in with the Cypher flaw like I thought. I can't tell you the number of times I'll place a trapwire in a weird spot or at an odd angle, only to catch someone off guard. And generally because of the odd nature of the trap, it can take them a good couple seconds to break it after getting caught because they don't automatically know where the actual gadget is. Same for KJ too. I just innately tucked her gear around corners to throw people off or make it hard to pick off.
Giving myself a bit more credit of what I'm capable with, so I can play a bit more confident than I used to. Also, allowing myself to go a bit more aggro if I'm confident and on a good day, to push my limits farther.
