Also, I know it's touristy, but you have to do Samaria Gorge on one of your Crete trips. At the bottom of the gorge in Agia Roumeli, take the ferry to Loutro (there isn't a road to the village). You'll only need to spend a day or two there because it's small, but the water is amazing, there's some good hiking in close proximity, and it's a good place to unplug for a while. Bring cash, because there's no ATM, though some of the restaurants have started taking cards.
Hi Gabriel! I loved the water coming on the stone footpath. The harbor is beautiful. I love boats and ships. Crete is a beautiful and magnificent place! Thank you for taking us along!. Take care!😊
Hi, In autumn and winter there are always high waves, sometimes even storm 10 Beaufort. And the harbour area of Chania is every fall/winter over flown with sea water, at least a few days due to the strong winds. So, we are used to it ! In the winter there are loads of snow in the mountains, people are unable to leave their houses. This too is Crete 😏 Thank you for sharing your video ! In the many years that I live here, I did not manage to see everything !! Warmest wishes from Chania ☀😎
There are people who would like, to experience something new an real adventure. But everything foreign, to them feels scary and just not something they are comfortable with. They expect everything to be like home, and yet different. Here I can highly recommend Disney world.

I just left Karpathos after a two months stay
Also, I know it's touristy, but you have to do Samaria Gorge on one of your Crete trips. At the bottom of the gorge in Agia Roumeli, take the ferry to Loutro (there isn't a road to the village). You'll only need to spend a day or two there because it's small, but the water is amazing, there's some good hiking in close proximity, and it's a good place to unplug for a while. Bring cash, because there's no ATM, though some of the restaurants have started taking cards.
Next time I'm on Crete for sure. I was planning to do it this trip but ran out of time because I had a flight already booked.
This channel deserves way more subs..
Thanks Chris.
Thanks Gabriel! Food looks scrumptious 😊 stay safe and travels ❤🙏
I love crete. Cool vid!
Wow such a nice little town in Crete!
Gabriel, you are the nicest guy!
Hi Gabriel! I loved the water coming on the stone footpath. The harbor is beautiful. I love boats and ships. Crete is a beautiful and magnificent place!
Thank you for taking us along!. Take care!😊
Are you going to Agios Nikalous ? I absolutely loved that city and its landscape
really like the music in the beginning
Hi,
In autumn and winter there are always high waves, sometimes even storm 10 Beaufort.
And the harbour area of Chania is every fall/winter over flown with sea water, at least a few days due to the strong winds.
So, we are used to it !
In the winter there are loads of snow in the mountains, people are unable to leave their houses.
This too is Crete 😏
Thank you for sharing your video !
In the many years that I live here, I did not manage to see everything !!
Warmest wishes from Chania ☀😎
Hi Marianne,
I'm planning to visit Crete in next December 2021. Any advise pls? weather , food, is it crowded ?
There are people who would like, to experience something new an real adventure. But everything foreign, to them feels scary and just not something they are comfortable with. They expect everything to be like home, and yet different. Here I can highly recommend Disney world.
OMG When we were in Xania the water was CRYSTAL CLEAR we could see fishes
Alex Decouvre In Greece at the end of August we have what is called meltemia which means is windly here It lasts about two weeks and back to normal again. Today 26th of September summer again... PS Meltemia in the old days were in the middle of August, but now with the climate change they moved to end of August and first week of September!!!!

Agios Nikolas north side of Crete is very restless full of night clubs and drunks mainly very expensive. The best holidays I've spent in Crete are in small fishing village Ierapetra at eat coast and town Sitia.
ITS A MUST!!!
For some reason I want to go to Crete one day. Thanks so much for the tour Gabe. Very interesting place.

No way man, that's awesome. Funny because at the time I think I had a little sense you might have recognized me. I left Crete a few days ago and am now on a different Greek island. Where are you from and how long are you traveling for? Just Greece? I recognize your username, I think you've commented before?
@@GabrielTravelerVideos Yes I have followed you for a while (not literally ha) im from England but just having a quiet week away in Crete biking, im staying in Sitia to the east of the Island but fly back home 20th. Hope you had fun.
@@CushdelaCush I see, right on, enjoy Crete.
Wow! How cool isn't that? Just too bad you got starstruck, but I'm afraid that would happened with me too. Hopefully, it was still a moment to remember ;-)
