I know your trying to promote artistic value and individuality but this is also the problem gatekeeping wasn’t bad just because it’s not allowing others to participate how would artist like Jun Galahad hi or come de garçon or Alexander McQueen get fans it happened in that circle of fashion. Not saying people aren’t into fashion or should be to wear cool clothes they like, but if it’s for the sake of saying the brand name or flexing then to me fashion is loosing and disrupting the real factor of authenticity. Ever heard of the saying “the game shall be sold not told” for its authenticity and true coolness there needs to be exclusivity and to be honest the more exclusive the stronger and better it is in my eyes. To me this is how small the true soul of it is and to find it we need to shift or mindset towards the object consume.
