I like how they addressed the difficulties being a woman in South Korea with all of the hidden camera in public restrooms, because it’s a real problem.
Me too. I was surprised at that, I honestly thought they were just going to be trying on dresses.

Lagos Baby Yes. In Korea there is a huge movement regarding the illegal placement of hidden camera in public places that sexualizes women. People will, for instance, place a hidden camera where a women can be inappropriately exposed, record it, and then they will upload it on sites for people to watch for their own satisfaction and pleasure. It’s disgusting, but luckily it is a problem that people are trying to prevent and fix as well.
I would wear a ski mask and sunglasses when going to the bathroom if it was a problem where I live

*Next level challenge:* going in with a maxi skirt and large purse along with the watery floor, a gross toilet seat that you can't sit on, and *no purse hook or covered toilet paper dispenser to set it on to be found.* Try doing that balancing act.
Edit: And just for kicks, let it be the one stall left who's lock is broken and you have to keep your hand on the door to keep it from swinging in and being exposed. I forgot about that one. Fun times. Maybe make that a bonus level.
vonzilla it’s the craziest thing ever, to walk into even a private, singular, decent sized bathroom for women and there is no where to hang or set your bag, but on the floor. 🤢 you wonder what the hell the builders or designers were thinking.

Okay, the yellow sweater guy is definitely my favorite when he started talking about how women would be psychologically affected if there was a hidden camera in public restrooms. Let’s just say all these guys here are my favorite.
Oh boy, when they asked what kind of troubles a woman could go through while in a public bathroom:
- yes, skirts and dresses
- when you have little children and help them do their business
- if the hanger is broken, you are forced to wear your bag and jacket, twisting in weird positions while squatting so that your butt and thighs don’t touch the toilet (not all of us have strong thighs unfortunately...)
- on top of number 3 if you have a coat instead of a short jacket you have to hike it up, hold it along your bag trying not to let it sway, get wet or touch anything dirty
- we almost never have toilet paper or sanitizer (to clean the seat, bless the public bathrooms where it is installed) in the stalls so we have to remember to at least have one pack of tissue paper in our bags
- wonder why we take sooooo long at a public restroom? Cause of all the above reasons, plus, imagine trying to change you pad or tampon while so much is going on and there’s at least 10 women praying for you to make it quick
- many women are quite unmannered and leave the stall dirty after they’ve used it. Bet they don’t do that sht at home...
Last but not least, at some point in all women’s lives we’ve had a feeling of anxiety going to a public restroom because you never know if there are hidden cameras recording you... we’ve all lifted our heads up and looked at the ceiling, through weird cracks an fixtures. Nowadays cameras are so small they can be easily installed anywhere
I've never had to experience any of those things fortunately, it sounds terrible. Hope things get better.

양다이아몬드 If you’re living in Korea, yes it’s a main concern, it has escalated to the point of becoming a sort of epidemic, apparently but there are also a few isolated cases in other countries.
In every country it's a concern in even look all around while using toilet in train ....... So usually I avoid using toilet as possible it is.... Even in my college 😅

I studied in korea for a semester and was aware of the issue, but it was still startling and scary seeing the anti-camera stickers on possible peep holes all over bathroom stalls.....

As a woman, "uncomfortable" is sadly one of the main feels (not touching the can of worms that is the vulnerability that comes with it too).
What nowadays can be a choice for men (to use makeup, wear skirt/dresses in certain cultures, use heels, wax etc) it's a "norm" for us. We had to learn to put up with the discomfort and seeing men struggle with what is a daily thing for us is a bit eye opening.
Also, glad that this video wasn't just meant as funny experience but also tackled the issue about the hidden cameras.
So first of all i don’t wanna sound rude or anything but that’s not really the case. All the above mentioned as “choices” for men aren’t really. It’s seen as really taboo and most can get even attacked for such things in many parts of the world. Eg wearing make up, heels and dresses can easily be seen as gay by many people (which there’s nothing wring with homosexuality) but there’s still many who don’t accept it and it many times results to bullying or even violence. As for girls, tho the same things are seen as a “norm” I would argue it’s not something most of society forces on you. You will not get attacked or bullied on the street for wearing pants, flats and no make up as a girl. So I wouldn’t really condone your comment as accurate

While the western world has mostly become accustomed to women wearing what they want freely, some countries don’t have that privilege yet

@@georgeoust I think you are mixing two separate things? I'm talking about choices, not the stigma that some things have on men.
While growing up I, as well as other women, was constantly bombarded with the idea that if I didn't follow the "beauty norms" (hourglass figure, thin, immaculate skin created by the illusion of makeup, dresses/skirts, heels etc) then I wasn't a good enough woman.
As far as I am concerned, all those "rules" were NEVER applied to the men that I grew up with. That's why I purposely used the word "choices". These men, regardless of their orientation/identity/intention, do have the real choice of using or not makeup and wearing or not clothes that are traditionally considered feminine in my country....because they simply want to. They did not grow up thinking that those things were an essential part of them "being men".
I am not saying that society doesn't have bs standards for men too, but here and now I'm talking about what society imposes to women. Also, whether those choices are taboo or can fuel discrimination is a whole different conversation to be had.
Did I or do I now have the choice to not follow these rules? Of course. But it doesn't change the fact that I grew up in a society that made me believe for almost 25 years that there weren't "choices" but "facts".That's the whole point.
Also, just to make sure : I am talking about what I experience in my country and culture. Other cultures may (and do have) different approaches to this.

To add a bit of more info to the discussion (this is more to insist at the utter bs women have to deal with just for looking "pleasing" to men) : did you know that back in november there was a "glasses ban" in Japan? Literally, female employees in some companies were told that they shouldn't wear them at work... So. Yeah.
They should try to wear a pregnancy belly for a day or try a menstrual cycle simulator machine 😂😂

I have met some men who commented they liked nail art and skirts but never tried either out in fear of being called ‘gay’ or bullied... we need to work towards ridding society of these toxic concepts, people should be able to do what they want regardless of gender
Something simple like going to the toilet is very inconvenient at times. As a woman I do feel like we are disadvantaged a lot in every day life. And men always make fun of it saying we take longer. But in reality we are always exposed, objectified and weaker. It’s a scary thing but I think you get used to it because that’s how we get through every day life. I’m really glad they did this video to help others understand better the daily struggles and raise awareness.

I am not sure if a romper is the same thing where you are compared to here, but here a romper is what you dress babies in. Its not an adult garment. So its kinda odd to hear you comment about one of those. Besides, rompers are easy as they have poppers at the crotch to open up to change the nappy. That's the whole point of them. So an adult version probably wouldn't be that bad.

Imma be honest here, as a women, squating or not, using a skirt or short dress to go to the restroom is not hard. I would say that when using something more covering like pants, pantyhoses, overalls, rompers or jumpers gets trickier.

I love wearing skirts because they are so liberating lol when I was little, my mom had to force me to wear pants (it was part of the winter uniform at my school) 😂
At first I thought this video was just gonna be about men wearing skirts and how they would sit and walk around, but I was pleasantly surprised when the topic of hidden cameras was brought up. Whenever I walk into a restroom I check for any cameras and use a seat cover. Not only do we have to worry about the restroom when we wear skirts, but also in public transport. If there's no seats, you have to be standing up and that's when men sitting down can take pictures from under your skirt without your knowledge. And sometimes you even have to be careful when your sitting down because the person sitting in front of your could also be taking a picture of your legs or from under your skirt. There's truly no safe measures when that happens unless you wear shorts under your skirt, but that can be too bulky and maybe even uncomfortable for some. They also do it shamesly once you notice and they're counting on the fact that many women would rather not get everyone's attention so they might never speak up or they call you a liar. In some situations, a woman can't win.

@@mslita09 It's just an opinion after all... I just find pants sometimes constricting and it's always easier to just wear a skirt especially since I live in a place where it can get as hot as 120°F in the summer.

I love this channel. They are bringing much needed awareness of everyday women's problems to bridge the gap. It's also amazing that this channel can be so open about crossdressing men and no one bats an eye. A few years ago, this would have been banned or at least there would be so much more backlash on this fact.

For me being a girl I only wore skirts during my school days till 6th grade. And from 7th grade, I started to wear Tunic and I felt that tunic is more comfortable than the skirt. Tbh I rarely used our school washroom, it's not like it was unhygienic or something, but I don't feel like using it. And also I don't like to wear skirts and dresses lol, I'm more comfortable with the jeans...

I really like how these men are so brave and put up with themes like these. All of them are taking it seriously and are even taking on the risk of being made fun of. I know there are lots of judging people but I truely want to say thank you for your hard work and to me all of you are the coolest! This is what makes us truely understand each other so I would also like these sorts of videos with content that also addresses men's struggles 🤔 I can't come up with any ideas right now but I am sure there would be a lot to test and talk about!

I'm female, but I feel like sticking up for the male race after hearing someone say that they might be priviliged in a way. The struggles of a man are in different areas, but personally I don't think one has it harder than the other. Maybe in Korea this is the case, I'm not sure, I've never gone there and I'm in no position to judge. Yet we all have our image to uphold in social situations, things that we're supposed to do, and things we shouldn't do. When you're born you get raised with what is deemed 'appropriate' for that gender. You'll grow up thinking that this is normal. What the other gender does, and goes through, is difficult to imagine seeing as you don't have to do it. Yet I think that living a day trying to uphold the virtues of a man would be equally as challenging.
I love these videos. The men are interested, they are respectful, and their feedback is fascinating. When I see a similar video made by other channels (like buzzfeed), guys are always so cringy, loud, and trying to "stay manly".

Skirts are kinda easy though. Try putting them in a jumper where you have to take EVERYTHING off just to pee. It's even worse if you have to go really bad. I end up standing cross legged in front of the toilet trying to quickly take everything off without dropping anything and without peeing myself. You also then have to squat because the was no time to put down those paper things or tissue. Honestly being a female is so much harder than people think and it's really annoying sometimes.

thank you for discussing the hidden camera issue, I'm still under 20 but have experienced these types of things which definitely made me more paranoid when using the bathroom and stuff, it's just disgusting how people can be and act, they don't care if you're close or if you're a stranger, they just care about the pleasure and the thrill

I like what the guy in the yellow sweater said because women don't necessarily put their clothes all the way off but there is always a feeling of exposure. Every time I use a public restroom I'm always paranoid I'm being watched like using that bathroom, which is something everyone has to do, is being shamed upon.

tip for going to the bathroom wearing a skirt, the floor being dirty, and no hooks to hang your stuff:
instead of pulling the skirt down, roll it up and put your bag or your stuff in the little pocket it creates, then tuck the bottom of the skirt under your chin so both hands are now free to use :) has worked every time for me and I do the same with my shirts/tops when I need to have a place to put items when going to the bathroom. just pull up bottom edge toward you so it creates a little pouch, put your stuff in it, then tuck under chin :) works like a charm and can be used for both women and men :)))
The majority of girls don’t even sit on public toilets we use the squat position 😂. If we want to sit we need to cover everything with paper 🧻 ( hygiene and high risk to get urinary tract infections or even other infections)
No. You are not the majority. You are just the reason why they put up the "DO NOT SQUAT ON THE TOILET SEAT" sign because you are damaging public property. Bet you don't do that at home. Bring hand sanitizer and use it on the toilet seats before using. Stop damaging the toilet seats. Other people deserve to sit on a clean unscratched and easy to clean surface.

@@karilam1663 Use hand sanitizer on the seat and it's disinfected. Urinary tract infections has nothing to do with toilet seats. It's because you don't clean yourself properly after using toilet.
