Thank you Tony for a wonderful dinner video. The conditions at the river's mouth looked like a washing machine. Wise move going back and anchoring for a few days. Best wishes to you and Hazel for continued good weather and safe sailing.
Sometimes, it's seamanlike to do a u-turn, as you say, Tony. It sounds like you used your R&R time back on anchor to good effect. Those bottles of wine look really splendid. Best wishes to Hazel as your two boats head south to the Algarve and, by the sounds of it, a family reunion! Cheers, Chris.
Hi ,I notices your sails ( and hazels) hold the wrinkles from storage when lowered. I guess its became they are new ish and with the junk rig you can't fold then carefully. Maybe as they get older they will look a little smoother. Or maybe there is a different sailcloth they could use but not sure what that would be ? Amazing area your cruising thru! Cheers warren
Thanks Warren. Yes, Hazel’s sails set better than mine. She has flat sails with hinged battens. Mine have barrel camber in them and it takes a bit of wind to get them to set perfectly. The foresail is the better of the two. I’m still tweaking in an attempt to get them smooth 👍😃
Please make some comments in future videos about your thoughts of a schooner versus a ketch or yawl rig now that you have got some mailes on her at sea. Additionally, if you have any thoughts about adding more ballast.
I will make a video on the rig soon, Craig. It’s very much in my thoughts! Generally, I think ketchup rig is probably preferable to schooner. I’ll share some thoughts on that in the upcoming rig video.
It's simply wonderful watching your vlog, and tracking your path on Google Earth. Fair winds, and following seas to you and Hazel.
Thank you Billy 😃😃😃
Thanks for your generosity Francisco. A mix of everything. Great music at the end.
Thank you, Roland 👍😃

Thank you Matt. Yes, and what I didn’t say or show was the shallow patches that made navigation that extra bit harder! 👍
Tony the Scenery is so beautiful thanks for sharing.
Thank you Dan 😃😃

I don’t intend to add ballast, beyond normal stowage. She sails fine!
1st time found your video. Tell us about your junk rigghed vessel.
I own a 50 ft Thomas Colvin Yankee Point model junk rigged schooner.
I’m planning a video about the rig, Billy. Although I’ve been saying this for a while now, it will come soon.
Your boat sounds like a beaut! 👍😃
Having said that, here’s a link to a look around the boat
