- I've been procrastinating doing the the task of pruning my monsteras back! monstera dubia has outgrown her wood plank by 21 leaves/nodes and my monstera siltepicana passed the point of cuteness, so I decided to create my first prop boxes!

Hi Plant Friend!! Thank you! My roots are "robust" and maybe need some "pruning" too 😂 💚
Very interesting I also like looking at all your plants on shelves behind you you really do have a very nice collection thanks for letting us watch you
Thank you Barbara! The pleasure's always mine! 💚🌿
Thank for the propagation lesson, Patrick. The monstera Dubia and the cissus discolor are my plant goal purchase for 2021.
Ooooh! Nice! I LOVE CISSUS DISCOLOR! It reminds me of Willy Wonka for some reason and I love it! I'm confident you'll achieve your 2021 plant purchase goals 💪💚
Wow nice .I like all your Collections friend. I hope I have one of those. Watching your video and dropping my support friend. Happy new year🎊.
Thank you so much for your support! Happy New Year! 💚
Hi Patrick. Thank you for showing me how you propagate in sphagnum moss. I need to stopped procrastinating and propagate my green string of hearts.
I know how you feel! That was me before I filmed this lol
Nice! Your string of hearts will propagate beautifully! 💚💚💚
@@Patadendron I hope so I’ll let you know

TWIGGY! Thats right! 😆 I love it! Thank you, Sheila! 🥰💚😘😘
happy new year :)
Happy New Year Tesha! ❤❤❤ sending love to the Philippines! I miss it back home ❤ what are you eating for New Years Eve??
Don't forget you can bobby pen those other pieces down it'll feel that little pot real quick 😊
You're first monstera is not one I was found of until this video. I think it would actually look amazing in a hanging basket.
You did awesome. They will grow roots quickly. I love propagating plants. It is almost like an addiction for me LOL😉
Thanks for that idea! I’m excited to experiment with these! I totally get it. I’m sure I’ll be hooked if these turn out well! 🤞🏽😊💚
@@Patadendron You can also use florist pins, which are a little more delicate for cuttings.
Great video! Been looking for a Dubia myself. I also live in OC. Please keep us posted on the propagation results!
Thank you!!! I’ll make sure to keep you updated on their progress! Stay tuned!
You remembering the garden of eden 30 minutes later is a mood lmao 😂
🤣🤣🤣 lmaoooo!
I'm curious where you got your Dubia. I can't seem to find a nursery in the US that caries them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Hi! I got my dubia from Houseplant Nation!
I have a young cutting that I have bought, should I be planting it into a soil mix and have something inside the pot for it to climb on, there are no other roots apart from the aerial small ones going up the vine. As in where it has been cut there’s no rooting
I wouldn't just yet! I would keep propagating in moist sphagnum or water. It's best to pot when the long roots that form after some propagating develop lateral toots that come out of it. Then it's got a root system robust enough to support the plant to live!
@@Patadendron thank you so much for your reply, it has been very helpful!
All my best
Hi, did you propagate them successfully? I have got some cuttings and don't know how to propagate them :) thank you
Siltepicanas did well and most of the dubia made it! I think the key was to not have overly wet sphagnum moss and bright light! Good luck!!! Thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰 Thank you so much for watching, it truly means the world me! 🤗💚🌿
@@Patadendron great!!!! I am so happy with you for all those plants that made it! and thanks a lot for a tip!!!
@@katarinamolnarova4688 🥰🥰🙌🏽🙌🏽💚💚
Did you mean Mesopotamia? lmao
Love your videos!!
Thank you! 😂😂 that too! But I meant the garden of eden 😆
I was looking for a follow-up. How did they turn out?
They turned out well! I ended up taking them to a last minute swap but next time I’ll be sure to include updates!
I just got a dubia cutting. So should I do the last process of the moss and rooting hormone in the container to get it to root good? This is my first one. And it’s little. So looking for the best possible way to get her to grow up!!
Is there an update video??
Nice job Kuya! Do you think it matters if the lid of the prop boxes should be colored or clear?
Thank you! I’m not too sure 😂 but I’m hoping the clear sides are enough! I’m sure a clear top would be better though! 💚
I love propagating. I’m propagating my favorite rhaphidophora decursiva. Maybe by spring I can send you her ! She’s my favorite. Just cut her to control her wild self. LoL
OooOooOh! Nice Dian! Love those decursiva leaves 😍 mama plant must be a happy gal 😉
Do you have an update video on these propigations
How is your propagating dubia now?
Looking for follow up on your Dubia starts; do you have one yet?
Update vid??
Can we get an update on the clipping please 🙂
*correction
planty friend..😃
💚💚💚
Any updates so far?
How’s your propagation?
Was it successful?
Great video - how did the small leaves go out of interest :) I've got a leggy cutting so considering cutting but leaves are quite small..
hello can i use cocopeat? pls answer me any1 tq..
I haven’t had any experience with cocopeat but I don’t know if it retains moisture like sphagnum which is what I used... 🤔
@@Patadendron ok thx buddy
