Its not Unreal Engine 5 problem, its the developers problem. Unreal Engine is very well optimized out of the box, especially UE 5, which gives you bunch of options and tech to make your games stutter free and with high FPS achievable. But many developers simply refuse to use them and at the same time refuse to bother to optimize them on their own, so they just shove-in the assets and hope for the best, they dont even try, they just rely on Unreal Engine`s optimization to do most of the work. TBH thank god they use UE, imagine if they used some unoptimized engine to begin with, the games would be totally unplayable.
@JustFun598 indeed ue5 prompt and capabilities are accelerated the main issue thought is the laziness of developers and the dominance of sampling/upscaling techs like dlss and fidelity super resolution(fsr)those methods lend ue5's upcoming games become heavy/required as well taking the example of stalker as the requirements for a stable 4k max settings are the top-tier rtx 4090s just to get a marginal 18 fps in rasterization
@@YaminaYarroume They have became lazy, that is 100% true, and I get your point. But at the same time I would much rather for them to use UE5 so we can at least have playable game at launch without needing years for a fix, something like Cyberpunk 2077 which was completely broken on launch because of the RedEngine4 not being fully completed which bled into the game itself, or Starfield or Alan Wake 2, or Cities Skylines 2 eating already bad Unity engine. I would much rather for them to use most optimized engine out there, rather than some hard to work with engine, even if they dont optimize anything at least its somewhat playable, rather than completely unplayable. Because Game Developers are only getting worse, since people keep pre-ordering games no matter what.

The optimisation of ue5 is going down the edge why are developers this lazy to optimise their games !
