I know you had indicated your preference to relocate the horn, turn singles etc but could it have gone back together the way it was just reverse assembly with the new column?
Installed my ty for the video I do have a question my steering column is alot less rigid moving up and down it seems the switch panel is alot less rigid is there a reason for that? I have a 1976 is yours reinforced or is there something I'm missing?
Hi yes I came across the same problem, as it baggy at the bottom of the rack and the column. So I put fibre glass tape around the bottom of the rack and built it up so it fitted snuggle in the column. This took all the play out. I then put grease on the tape. It worked a treat. 👍👍
@@RRW perhaps the disregarded bushing? I read elsewhere that the plastic/felt bushing should probably be replaced when the column is out. Teflon tape feels like it could be a temp solution?! But honestly thanks for the video I am really interested in doing mine! :)
Looking smart buddy!
Looking to get that boss kit for my project , what size tube did you use?
I’ll have to weld it on my self

Nm I saw the answer below
Could you leave the indicators and wipers and things like that on the steering column or do you have to remove them like you have
Hi Paul you can leave them in place it’s just my choice to remove them. 👍👍
