Thanks for this series! I will be changing hearing aids the next week and I'm eyeing the Resound Nexia. It´s good to know that they performed so well for you in noisy environments, this is an area where even most modern hearing aids still struggle with. I've been using hearing aids for more than 30 years an one thing I can tell you is that even if they are not perfect, in that they will never be as good as having perfect hearing, their are a wonderful, and a necessary, solution. There is always a fitting period for first time hearing aids users than can go from a few weeks to a couple months or even longer where some noises or situations will feel weird. But once your brain fully adapts it will be the other way around: not wearing them will make sound noises feel weird.

How about phone calls using the hearing aid as mic? Can the other person hear you ok?
