Welcome to Cam's Conversations! I am Cameron, and growing up I have been all too familiar with the struggle of finding other men to relate to from a mental health perspective. That is why I wanted to start this podcast - to create an inclusive, safe space and have open conversations to normalise men talking about their feelings, struggles and life lessons. If you also feel passionate about breaking the 'alpha male' stereotype and eradicating phrases like 'man up', join me on this journey as I look to speak to men of all walks of life and learn from them.
Today I am joined by Jimmy Penfold to kick start this series, growing up Jimmy has been an inspiration to me so it is only right I sat down with him first to give him the opportunity to share his experiences and allow you all to gain perspective and learn from his strength.
