i love how dlow explains what is going on in a way that isn’t annoying to someone who has been following him and the beatbox scene for years, but also would make sense to someone who has never seen a beatboxing video in their life!
I have just recently gotten into the beatboxing scene, but damn!! Vahtang is a beast!!!!! I am so impressed by him!!! That base you can just feel all the way through your chest!! Hat's off to Vahtang!!
I love Vahtang's wildcard as it's so unique and refreshing. Yes, we got tons of musical beatboxers. But who can use their singing as a drop? I think vahtang's wildcard gonna be revolutionizing
Love D-Lows detailed critiques. I don't know anyone else online that can break down the specifics of these beatboxers at this level of detail and knowledge.
3:57 don't apologise for things like this. Personally would like more insights like this. You said yourself, you're not only a judge but a former winner so your knowledge is much appreciated.
I really appreciate the insight and knowledge from a judging standpoint, you explain very well. I've watched and 'boxed a bit for about 10 years, but I feel like my understanding has expanded immensely.
vahtang technique is so nice that others feel silly doing it but its actually what makes him stand out and if you copy him you will get looks that you copy him
he can do the style of napom but he doesnt have his level on liprolls, like listen to the quality of napoms liprolls and then to the quality of den. Yes he has to do more for coping napom
I think why we haven't seen Vahtang's unique "stuttering" technique and his other nameless technique is because it's hard to do and perfect. IMO, if another beatboxer were to use these techniques without hours of practice, it would sound bad and kind of cheesy, especially the stuttering. Also, these techniques come to the forefront and can't be used with anything BUT percussive sounds which is why Vahtang does this (I think). Another thing, a lot of beatboxers nowadays usually don't focus on just ONE technique to push a part of their track, IMO. I can talk about his Wildcard a lot more BUT it would be too long haha. I will leave with this, less is more.
Vahtang is just one of a kind, theres not many old school beatboxers that can still hang and he is one of the few that can along with Reeps, Alem and Skiller, Big Up Vahtang his power and uniqueness is just insane
Vahtang has some metal vocal technique going on. thats really dope to see mixed in with beatbox. probably makes sense considering hes clearly got the lungs and diphram of a silverback.
I think vahtang is using his uvula for some vibration actually like gargling. Also swiss has a dope vahtang vid of him using the lip quivering tech post beatbox retirement just since you've mentioned it.
vahtang is so nice that you enjoy the video and you can mimic it to enjoy it even more. With other beatboxers you are left speechless but I cant remember them.
I am new to this beatboxing scene… I am following it for over a year now… So I want to say that I would like to see a battle between vahtang and king inertia … it would be 10/10
Hi Dlow, I enjoy you kind analysis of the other beatboxers. For a while I had the idea to suggest you to consider overtone singing, it would bring you into a league of your own. I can as a classically educated musician to a degree appreciate the gymnastics of beatboxers such as NaPoM, but it is people like Taras Stanin, Vahtang and Bigman I would play and listen to. If much more of the top beatboxers actually learned proper singing it would make it something that way more people would listen to and it could even turn into records that would sell.
Mad respect for D-Low and actually all these guys but I personally think Vatang, whilst he clearly is a gifted singer and vocalist, his beatboxing isn’t particularly interesting, just some basic sounds (that I don’t think are even that consistent) and lots of humming, growling Still sounds great and better than most could do but I think it’s because he is so good at vocals - I would love to hear what he could do with improved technicality, sounds and variety for sure I understand less can be more but I just don’t find it as impressive as the skill required to pull off the modern sounds, most people could do a rendition of his track it just wouldn’t sound as good without that voice But I also appreciate just uniqueness and that’s why D-Low such a good judge to be honest
You must practice to shake your jaw fast , then you can do this drop and vahtang s fast hi hats ... I needed 7-8 year to learn vahtang techniques...I He explained me everything when he was in my country 🇬🇪 10 years ago ... He has very hard style... Every sound like kick, snare you must do from your diaphragm....
This one was great! Thx D-Low for sharing your reaction, your thoughts, on-off cap comments and so on. This comes from a NON-Beatboxer... by far :P... HipHop-DJ/Turtableist in retirement ;) Love your style! Greetings from Switzerland
Yes, this is raw audio from the phone ;)

Vahtang is so unique and one of the most enjoyable to listen to. I hope all the judges score him high for that.
He's from Russia. So it is unlikely that he will be evaluated normally.
He is from Georgia but he lives in russia
I don't think he will get in, but i'm happy he made a wildcard
@@maxprog3602 the fuck?
Vahtang too oldschool…
Imagine the number of times D Low had to put jacket on and off while watching all these wildcards in one day, to make a bunch of separate videos
Lol, shhh don't call him out like that
Need a D-low, Napom, Waali liproll insanity performance. (And I think D-low still hasn’t reacted to Hard Control).
Vahtang is a legend in the scene and i’m happy to see that he's making a comeback
i love how dlow explains what is going on in a way that isn’t annoying to someone who has been following him and the beatbox scene for years, but also would make sense to someone who has never seen a beatboxing video in their life!
Ikr that way non beatboxers and beatboxers can appreciate his videos equally
Vahtang's singing voice is so good. So much soul, so smokey and sexy
I have just recently gotten into the beatboxing scene, but damn!! Vahtang is a beast!!!!! I am so impressed by him!!! That base you can just feel all the way through your chest!! Hat's off to Vahtang!!

Funny how Dan mentions every video again how much he doesn't really like judging. Such a humble dude.
I completely understood what you've been talking about this entire time with silence being believable when I heard Vahtang. Madness
Vahtang ! 🔥
and this is given that the recording without a microphone
Vahtang has that soul in his voice he's an incredible singer and beatboxer. He seems to be influenced by R&B a lot which is refreshing and different.
Russian beatboxers have so much presence, insane
Love D-Lows detailed critiques. I don't know anyone else online that can break down the specifics of these beatboxers at this level of detail and knowledge.
plase reaction to future monster❤️
Dan’s input on Vahtang’s sound makes me really wanna hear on a GBB sounds mix with a huge crowd and cameras visibly shaking 😩👌🏻

This year is gonna be wild with all these wild cards 🤯,
And those vocals in the beginning 😂

How epic would be to have Vahtang in gbb23? 😱😱😱😱

trying to do it i may or may not have dislocated my jaw
i really love your background music. it is so pleasant
Would love to see Dlow battle but he has such a depth in his judging I feel like he’s the most qualified to judge these

i can do the chattering technique since i found vahtang like 10yrs ago
he's a massive inspiration and he's back!

Nape absolutely murdered it.
Vahtang is so high level. Power if off charts.
Hope they both qualify.
Vahtang had so many good wildcards this year, loved his solo, tag-team, and crew submissions!
God dang vatang blew my mind!
Vahtang's got a blues voice... damn. This guy is one of the most listenable voices I've heard in the scene
2:35 he stop talking
Dlow you must see VGone after Vahtang
20:12 the closest I've heard is Zekka's snare
wow vahtang is defo my fave so far amazinf work, this could be a song in itself

What crazy about Vahtang is he doesn't need inward bass to get low, probably the lowest throat bass ever
Vahtang is absolutely unique. You need to react to JP fr

Hope to see vahtang on stage
Hey bro just asking like tech whys it sounds like he is using a throat bass and vocal fry at the same time
