Featuring the one and only alto trombone. Will LingLIng be proud or is this just another failed attempt at impressing legendary musicians? Stay tuned and find out? Or don't? I leave the power in your violaless hands. Violas, please don't read this.

Once again RUclips is disabling my comments for reasons I cannot comprehend. Sorry about that. I hope this gets resolved in the future! EDIT: THE SYSTEM THINKS I'M A MINOR LOL
@xX_GamezMaster_Xx yt is literaly a Joke by itself, tbh
At least it ain't tiktok
You’re not a minor, you’re a major
Boy face! 😅 Haha in all seriousness - it's not marking the video as "for kids" is it? Because that randomly disables comments. And it's super misleading that they don't make that clear when they ask the option.
@@jedinathan67 oooh. That was smooth
That smile at the end, lol. Like, yes, I did it!!
Oh it's you!
Haha indeed! Fancy seeing you here. I may like Eric's drumming videos but I'm a brass player at heart.
@@christinashelby6083 Fancy seeing you here too!
Could probably do a lot with this if you played it polyphonically or whatever it's called, if you just play low notes and vocalize the actual melody or whatnot.
I think that’s only for lower pitch instruments
Yep when I learned how trumpets works I assumed this was possible but it seemed sacrilegious to even try. Glad I got to see it lol
@@TheJetto200 you can do multiphonics on any brass instrument, it just works better on lower instruments. Trumpet players usually do it by singing notes UNDER the played pitch rather than over it.
The davie504 of the trombone world is becoming very prevalent. As a former trombone player, I’m proud to see this instrument become more known!
Love Davie504. Bass clef musicians unite 👊🏻
@@trombonetimo Epic!
former? why former?
@@webduelist I moved to a secondary school and rarely touch my horn anymore. I play ebass now
@@Txdcblues I just came off a 12 year hiatus honestly glad I picked it back up
I'm actually more impressed by them meaty pedal tones you smacked hard on that alto. 💪💪
The stop from the Harmon mute had so much expression it's insane
when you slide lock is stuck:
Hornist: You're meant to use your hand in the bell to get the other notes
Who knew the theme of Universal is "So Far, So LingLing"
absolutely incredible
top teir charlie brown parent sounds
The school captain of my school played the last post without moving the slide
Sorry I’m a solid 10 whole steps sharp
We have a young Christopher Bill brewing here. Not that that’s a bad thing. Some serious abilities from both.
if only i could play the last song with the tenor saxophone
Thank u, this made me smile 😂
Low implies it can go up. Don’t give Andrew that sort of satisfaction
Bro's definitely got his girl taken by a red piller

Great as always
You made Jerry Goldsmith proud.
Well, thats just an alphorn.
Love the memes, but that is just a glorious alto trombone soind
As a trumpet valve, I can confirm we only talk in Brassish
The one thing windplayers have a hard time with, THE POWER OF LIPS😭😂 (i play Trombone too💅)
Can you do Hebron highschool's alto trombone solo
So I got a McDonald’s ad right before this
industry baby lol we're playing that for marching band in our band we don't play it too often but it's there
👍
The first part was the old spice intro
Then why is the guy telling him to not move the slide if he is
False tones are so difficult- how do you do it in the higher partials?
As low as Andrew Tate’s career 💀🤚
Me at
4yrs: Oh trombones are a thing? So you blow into it and move the slide to make music. Dope.
12yrs: Oh you don't actually just blow into brass instruments, it's like a raspberry
22yrs: Oh so the note is actually the combination of the slide position and embouchure.
Today years old: "YOU DONT NEED TO MOVE THE F∆¢×|#G SLIDE?"
Yep! This is why brass instruments have such a limited amount of positions/buttons - they're based in embouchure, pressure, air speed and more!
Check out Naturaltrumpet84 for some legit crazy valveless trumpet playing. Dude's special.
Also check out the Hummel trumpet concerto on keyed (not valved!) trumpet.

Do tenors and altos use the same mouthpiece
How often do you play the alto? I have an alto, but rarely play it. I played the alto trombone part in orchestra in college on a 0.525" bore tenor trombone and when I have played alto, my range isn't any higher than on the tenor (going up to Eb5)
Pov : Bugle players 😂😂
Whomp woump
"As low as Andrew Tate's career" 💀
I don't understand what a low career is
Can someone tell me the name of the last song I forgot lol
It's the Universal intro.
@@arizonagreenbee lol thanks idk how I forgot that it sounded so familiar
I'm no hater or anything but cmon bro Andrew Tate has already exceeded anything you'll ever accomplish in your career by an astronomical amount
And ruined his career while doing it

@@Adamthecoolguy123 more like amassing millions within months and earning thousands of supporters along the way
He’s in jail. This guy is not. I’m pretty sure op is doing better rn
Im not sure how brass instruments work exactly but how do you play different notes without using the slider?
It's called partials. Depending on things like how our embouchure is set (loose or tight), how fast the air is and the amount of pressure we can make different notes using the same positions/fingerings. This is why we have a limited number of buttons or just a slide and maybe a trigger. So, on a trombone, the first position could be Bb, F, or a high D (and possibly more, but trombone is not my main).
Specifically, this is an alto trombone, so the available 1st position notes are the pitches of the Eb harmonic series:
pedal Eb, Low Eb, Bb, Eb, G, Bb, Db, Eb, F, G, A half flat, Bb, etc.
Those last handful are pretty difficult, but technically possible. The Db is "out of tune" (actually it's just a note we don't use in western music much -- the true harmonic 7th)
Depending on how tight or loose your lips are (your embouchure/mouth formation) while buzzing air through it is how the notes get higher and lower. So if your lips are pursed tightly the notes are high, and when you relax the lips the lower the note goes.
I love the STOP sound, it fits really well for some reason
Got all the Tate fans mad💀 good
I love how people just forget that the bugle exists.
oof, should have played a bugle call xD
Broo so I gotta troll my teacher with this.
Woulda worked better on the French Horn lol
As low as Andrew Tates career 💀
When you started playing the universal theme I burst out laughing, nice job! XD
You're the best trombone player I know
How do you play such a good c in 1st
you shoud do the impearial march

Hi

👹
Who is this Andrew Tate people keep bullying all over the internet?
Human trafficking misogynist who teaches middle schoolers that women are property
it's hard to say he's a loser since he makes so much money from exploring people just as dumb as him, so I will give you one of my favourite quotes from him
"I'm too smart to read books, i constantly need something happening in my life [...]"
@MAGA_Gal why would you ask that to someone who doesn't have a clue who the guy is?
@MAGA_Gal not that I know of, but he does have other golden moments, such as that time he abused a woman with a belt on live television, or that time he said "I'm absolutely misogynistic" (i am not joking look it up)
@MAGA_Gal i dont think he bullied any entertainers
it was more about the misogynistic comments
y r u talkin abt andrew tate? what did he do to u band nerd
