Colin Firth is one of Britain's best loved and most decorated actors. Colin Firth should have won the Oscar for A Single Man and Jeff Bridges should have won for True Grit. That Bridges won for the truly bad film called Crazy Heart the year Firth lost for a Single Man. If Bridges Hollywood friends wanted to give a lifetime achievement award, which I have no problem with, it should have been for True Grit, an excellent remake of a very good film, with a stunning performance by Bridges. Firth was ROBBED for not winning for A Single Man and should have won two years in a row given the quality of his performance in The King's Speech, but I could have lived with Bridges winning for True Grit. But Crazy Heart, a horrible film. Not.

Ardent fan of Colin Firth since watching P&P 1995 a week ago. Today I watched his movie King’s speech and his acting was phenomenal no wonder he won an Oscar for that! He is so handsome and sexy even at his age now lol it’s kinda weird for me to have crush on someone his age but can’t help it, he will forever be Mr. Darcy for me...!

I do agree. However with one change. Mr. Darcy of Pride and Prejudice should have been atleast 2nd or 3 rd. Though the 2nd and 3rd mentioned are no less good, Darcy should be up there. It was the performance that made this man. Colin Firth had changed the image of Pride and Prejudice from a female oriented story to a Man centric, outshining the terrific Jennifer Elhe.

Ducks snorting Quack I think 1 is just a tiny bit better than 2, but it is funny in the second one when he was studying butterflies 😂😂
I wish "Another Country" got a honorable mention. Rupert Everett and Carey Elwes were not bad at all but, after a while, Colin was the only thing I remembered about the movie. He was stunning.

I have been a huge Colin Firth fan for over 10 years! The BBC/HBO 2001 movie Conspiracy is very good but hard to watch (Nazis talking about the Jewish "problem") but Colin's performance is very outstanding!

Proud to say I have seen all of these, I think 'then she found me' and 'and when did you last see your father' deserve to be on there somewhere. Can't for the life of me understand why 'where the truth lies' was on there
Abigail Wright His crying scene near the end of When Did you Last See Your Father gets me every time! Not a fan of Where the Truth Lies!
I love both of those movies. "Then She Found Me" Is probably one of my favorites of his. Definitely in my top 10. "And when did you last see your father" definitely deserves an honorable mention more than Where the Truth Lies.
