@@Rekseri yeah!
@@davidlevymusic nerd isn't a bad thing in this case
It reminds me a lot of Hellwalker from DOOM 2016. I love it.
Yes it feels like a sequel to Hellwalker, a song I adored, and now I love this one also!
Same
@@TheFirstCause Hellwalker kind of set the tone perfectly for how the game was going to progress. Like I sat in the main menu going through settings and heard it get intense and could just tell the music was a good indicator of the quality of game I was about to play the first time. This one caught me by surprise since I didn't care for the original Doom Eternal main menu AS main menu music so much, still a good song but it sounds less intense than this one does or Hellwalker)
The beginning of the end.
@@TheFirstCause unpopular take but this is better than the previous one DE had 😊

Loving the new soundtrack but wish they'd make a feature we can either put this or the Icon Of Sin from Doom 2

To paraphrase a comment that's been copy-pasted to death on Disturbed's cover of "The Sound of Silence";
Mick Gordon's menu track: A warning.
David Levy's menu track: The resident anger at said warning going unheeded.
It’s good but the old music was better. The woo wee wee woo hit harder imo
The current music director is very good, although Mick Gordon was a huge part of what made Doom 2016 + Doom Eternal into modern FPS masterpieces.
@@caketakeshh I’m familiar with Andrew hichult but I don’t know why they decided to change the musc
I mean its a different composer
I like the new one a lot but they should give us the ability to change the music in the options if we want to
@@KoolAids-vj1ll There was no real reason to change the intro theme, but they changed musicians because Mick couldn't hit deadlines and repeatedly lied to id/Bethesda/Zenimax/Microsoft.
I only came here for 3:41, it’s just as amazing as I thought it would be
I like this theme, but it doesn't hit as hard as the previous one
Well this soundtrack wasn’t made by mick Gordon which is why there’s a difference
I think this fits better the game...the previous one sounds kind of...happy, this sound sinister
@Alan K I can see what you mean by the sinister feel but idk the only thing they fear is you doesn’t sound happy
@@points1191 Oh i was talking about the menu themes specifically
@@MaximumSpiders then yeah this theme is way better than part 1 theme
This soundtrack is branded into my head
It's like I have a personal theme song I have everywhere I go!

Edit: ok wtf
Not any more boyo, some filthy heretic or snowflake disliked the song already.

This song grew on me big time. Might be just as good as the original
Just love the portentous-ness of this theme. Waaaaayyyyy better than the original one. When I boot up the game now I have to linger on the menu screen a while longer..
Better than the old one which sounded cool but didnt really sound heavy and dark enough for Doom and should've been the Battlemode theme so we get both.
the one dislike is from the dark lord
hah!
The dark lord made 2 other accounts
What are you talking about there’s no dislikes

I know
I wonder how the base campaign, tag1 and tag2 soundtracks would've been if Mick, Andrew and David made the soundtracks.
0:56 in 1.25x speed🔥🔥
They should make the music an optional thing so you can get more from challenges and the records you can collect in game should also count towards this
Наконец-то, я нашел что искал!!!
Gonna miss that Mick main theme tho. But this one is HECKIN GOOD
Really wish they kept this menu theme or gave you the option to choose
Edit: fuck me they do!
Yes
I miss the whistling theme, but this is diabolical in it's own right.
finally i found it
God it makes me mad you can't listen to the old theme anymore
Yeah I miss it but this one isnt a bad replacement either
@HyperFragon 25 Lol I already modded the game so I could have the old music back but am very very happy they made it a feature
You can change the two now somewhere in settings
It's back
If you play 0:56 and 3:50 at 2x speed they sound a bit like super gore nest
Achievement get: *[Cover Me in Debris]*
i love the part went it goes da da da
lol
Mick Gordon's Main Menu Track: A warning of something to come and to be prepared
David Levy's: That something is here, and all you can do is face it head on
Time to unleash your inner beast.
The best soundtrack ever
This is so mich better compared to the other one
the other menu music? i 100% disagree but this one is still badass
No
Perfect just perfect, The End is Near, 😠⚔️👿
People are arguing over which menu theme is better...I say both are great in their own ways.
Mick's old menu theme represented Doom in it's early days, when it was this new and exciting doom game that called back to it's roots while making a name for it's own. A lone warrior of a game that's metal as hell.
This menu theme represents doom eternal as it is now, a kickass game known around the world that has brought many people to the spotlight, revitalized the single player first person shooter genre, and a king of it's kind. Also, the story that has been building up is in this theme as well.
Mick's theme stood for the lone warrior of a game Doom Eternal was when it first came out while David's theme stands for the game as it is now, a titan in the gaming industry.
That's actually a perfect way to put it.
Only true slayers are capable of ripping and tearing
What is the name of this soundtrack?
I don't care I like it
I care and I like it more.
bro, thanks
The doom slayer after waking up:
“Where the F$!k is my iced tea.”
i want to play this song at my local walgreens
I really wish i could change it back to the sign of evil theme with hints of dark halls in there that song was so good its a shame they switched it out
It was actually Doom II’s Opening to Hell. But yeah it would be cool if there’s an option to change menu themes.
Amazing 😌
BREAKING: Man literally too angry to die
NICE
listen to it in 1.25x speed 🤯
Ah yes i love it its too good 😎

Rip and Tear
the main theme is cooler than this
it was made by Mick Gordon? :)
No both DLCs composed by Andrew Hulshult and David Levy
Yeah Mick Gordon be fired 😐
Didn't he leave on his own, because Bethesda mixed his music without his input?
@@alymoose53 I thought he got fired because there wasn’t as much passion, as far as Bethesda was concerned, in his doom eternal soundtrack vice doom 2016’s and he was on a downtrend that way. But idk might have to look up the story again
@@lukaskullman4998 nah, Bethesda went behind his back and released the soundtrack before he could finish editing it, which pissed him off big time
This DLC isn't so good enough as previous. If Doom Slayer dies because Dark Lord is his creator, and this Dawoth is the creator of all beings, that means that his death means death to us all.
Bro not really
The slayer didn't die, he was put away in the crypt just like at the beginning of DOOM 2016, sealed away until he is needed again, sleeping...finally resting. We may see the Slayer again
@@odinharou7112 thx for explaining i was thinking the same actually but i didnt know if i got the story right
