Hello 👋 my Oregon friend, greetings from Northern California. Thank you for sharing the contents of your Spring/Summer backpack. Your video was most informative. Always take good care of yourself and stay safe out there. 😊
Super bright neon bandana. Excellent idea! Reminds me of VS-17 signal panel used by the military. It's surprising the distance at which it's visible. Who would have thought of that for their backcountry gear? As to be expected from Hike Oregon, this video has very useful information for backpackers, campers etc!
Hello 👋 my Oregon friend, greetings from Northern California. Thank you for sharing this informative video. It looks like you are prepared for justvabout any emergency. All the best to you. Stay safe out there. 🤗
Hi,, video was great as always,, I have a 25 lit. For my summer pack, made by ozark trails , I carry all needed things also, plus fly fishing gear, being that I’m over hear in fishing land by bend or. Looking forward to the video, so have a great day 😊😊
I don’t think it matters. I just don’t like having to deal with something always lining my pack and always having to mess with it when I unzip my pack.
It’s in my first aid kit, I just have one of those huge Mylar emergency blankets that I would make into an A frame shelter with my paracord if I had to.
@@HikeOregon I liked the idea of getting a lighter pack for summer, and I loved your cheery yellow pack so much that I had to go order one (although I got the Juno, which is supposedly the women's version of the Citro). It's all your fault!! 😆

Very good content for this video. The change of seasons , we often forget what is needed in our packs from the last season.

Great upload my friend, you are well prepared and organized! You explained everything so nicely!🥾
Thank you so much for watching!!
You are very well prepared. Thank you for the tips. I hope to see you out on the trails.
I like Gregory packs as well. I've got Zulu 65, Z40, and a new Arrios 24.

Haha the seeds!😂 you don’t know how many times I’ve left half eaten bars or snacks in a pack for a long time
Hahahhahhah 😂
Well done, and thank you so much for making this video!😀
Thank you so much for watching Steven!!
Cool video, thanks for sharing your gear.
Thanks for watching Tim!
I feel like I had those exact same table and chairs. Lol
Good to see you again!
Good info, thanks! 👍🏻
You could save a couple of ounces by swapping that Anker battery for a Nitecore.
I already had the extra Anker battery and I am not really worried about pack weight on day hikes since I carry so little stuff.
Interesting video-question benefits vs. drawbacks of a pack cover vs. plastic bag/pack liner….can you discuss this please….thanks

I've been looking for an excuse to get a new day pack, and I think you just gave me one! :D
Did you mention what you carry for emergency shelter?
It’s in my first aid kit, I just have one of those huge Mylar emergency blankets that I would make into an A frame shelter with my paracord if I had to.
@@HikeOregon Thank you! My day pack with just essentials seems to be bigger for some reason, so I'm trying to go through and figure out why. :)

never seen anyone bring so much nonscience on trail
I carry the ten essentials and some camera gear. Everyone should carry the ten essentials.
