I’m also working from my stash. So far, every dress I have made is reversible just to be on the safe side. I’ll purchase thicker cotton for the dresses that I will make for next year.

So nice that you make them reversible, It's like giving them 2 dressed! I will be collecting suitable fabrics along next year as well and keeping an eye out for more patterns 💝

Great idea about lining the dresses. I will do this from now on. Especially important for the larger sizes.

      Hi!
Absolutely!! Also a great way to use preety cotton fabrics that may be a bit on the see through side :)
      Have a great day

I lined one of my dresses but, I like the order you sewed your lining better. Thank you for your beautiful work (and your tips)❤❤❤❤

Vox!!! Your dress is beautiful. I still don't know how to line dresses that well, but this did help watching you.😊

I find bias binding a challenge too. I’ve used the peasant girl dress pattern which is elasticated round the neck, so no need for binding. Raglan sleeves too, so really easy. A little girl will love your dress!

oww yeah! I need to take a look at more patterns 😊
Thank you so much! I makes me very happy to imagine that a little girl somewhere in world will hopefully be delighted to receive a cute dress.

Oh my gosh! I love your dress. Also, I’ve never thought to use my pinking sheets under facings and linings. Next dress I totally will!

Your dress is beautiful and some little girl is going to be truly blessed. There is an excellent free pattern for a peasant dress that uses elastic instead of bias tape from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom. I believe she also did an update with a tiered version recently too.
