Not sure how many noticed this, There was an old song " kalviya, selvama, veerama" from the radio when vijay sethupathy and family escape from their home, (when some tries switch off he orders not to do) and in final fight with Kamal, the last words hints with his original vikram song, as "veerme.. vaagai sudum".. Just a thought of connecting both..
Great video. Another nice detail is when Kamal tells the child that "We are Immortals". The movie establishes that Fahadh Faasil is going to carry on Kamal's legacy, and name of his character "Amar" means "Immortal".
The cup falling scene where Tina catches it sharply is a foreshadowing for her character in the latter part of the movie. That sharp catch depicts that she is trained. The speaker "Marshall' used by Surya will come in the "PATHALA PATHALA" song. A guy carries it on his shoulder while Kamal says "Janaki voice bha". And that "vathikutchi" song is played twice in the movie. First right after "PATHALA PATHALA" denoting that Kamal is ready for his mission. Again, it is played in the Jailbreak scene for the same reason. This dialogue "strength ah katra" during VJS intro is a reference to the movie "MANAGARAM".

This was nothing but subtle..just to give u an example in anbe sivam when the train accident takes place there is a boy who needs blood and madhavan is convinced by Kamal to donate blood. The boy is called pown. Which was the same name of the character who dies in the bus accident .. so most of us would still think that boy will survive making madhavan be more conscious to being good to people..but it's the other way he ends up dying making madhavan even better. That is foreshadowing.. this was so silly . She caught the cup with such precision and insticnt that right there we knew she wasn't a domestic help ..it's as silly as showing Kamal getting killed for that interval block. The world knew immdly that the masked man was Kamal .. i loved the movie but these things just spoilt the effect of the mass moments
So, When Surya said the 'Life time settlement da' dialogue, everyone might have thought, this is Arjun Das' character Anbu's dialogue in #Kaithi , but in fact, #Rolex is the one who often says this, Anbu subconsciously influenced (Or consciously imitates) by Rolex's mannerism. Loki hints this behavior of Anbu, when Rolex lights a cigarette while dispersing, Anbu immediately takes up a cigarette and lights it up following Rolex's mannerism. So, 'Life time settlement da' is originally Rolex's, Anbu follows it. Similarly, the butcher knife he carries. Anbu uses it in Kaithi.
after pathala pathala song Kamal’s voice, his voice is not there and will not have any dialogues in the entire first half of the movie. His only dialogue in the first half is before the interval just one word -‘aarambikalama’. All his dialogues will come only in the second half. I ignored his computer voice dialogues of mask man. This is actually pure brilliance of direction by Lokesh.
When Amar's GF was talking about Aashramam,they both might have grown up together there.Also, Vikram was there in an aashramam too until his son adopted him. What if Vikram took care of Amar in his childhood days? What if he made him choose that career? Vikram gave a lead to Amar directly as Amar questioned a few people who were a part of Vikram's team already. Amar didn't go to anybody else. He just followed the track that Vikram created already. Also, Amar told to his wife that Vikram's face was very familiar. I think Amar might be Vikram's adopted son. Even in first half, Vikram had no intention to fight against Amar. Lokesh Kanagaraj 🔥🔥

I read through almost all the comments and i do not see it featuring anywhere. During the "presentation" scene where Amar explains about agent Vikram, right at the end just before the lights get turned on, there's a split second where Amar's nose and mouth is covered in darkness (like a mask) and only his eyes will be visible. This is a vera level foreshadowing that he'll also join the masked gang after his wife's decapitation. This is just next level screenplay to portray the clues, i got goosebumps immediately after i saw that 🔥🔥🔥
At the outset, when Fahad is interviewing Kamal's daughter-in-law, the maid displays incredible reflexes when she catches the tea cup before it hits the floor...that is an excellent clue that she's an agent. She did an amazing job as Agent Tina...sad they killed the character. Loved the use of Village Cooking Channel.

Kamal’s character is compared to an eagle in this movie. An eagle can live upto 70 years but in its 40th year it has to make a hard decision of losing its beak and talons as they get worn out over the time and makes it hard for it to hunt. After losing them, the eagle would starve for days waiting for its new and sharp beak and talons which would push it to the verge of dying. Once they grow back the eagle is almost reborn as it can hunt like its young days. Vikram’s death and comeback is similar to the eagle’s life.
The eagle reference suits more, as birds have longer life, precise hunting technique and definitely great vision. The lion reference in my pov is for Surya, as a hungry lion is ruthless, similarly, Surya mentions that tomorrow is day 1. Also, lion never hunts, its the lioness, similarly; Surya wasnt running the drugs, it was Santhanam and others

In Nayagan movie there is a sad song for Velu Nayackar's son's death, " Thenpandi Seemayile, Therodum Veedhiyile , Maan( His son) Pola vandhavana yaar aditharo, yaar aditharo" ... Here also he refers his son as the deer... I think Lokesh brought everything in. Although it was pretty obvious Kamal was the masked man at the interval block, we can see hints to that as he mostly uses his left hand as the dominant one - Killing Major Sundararajan's son while the holding gun with his left hand and walking away casually with the cuff on his left shoulder knowing that Amar is out of bullets (he obviously can count the bullets on the gun Amar uses....it's also seen in the double gun barrel loading time prediction towards the climax), that flashback left-handed golf shot when Lawrence describes Karnan to Amar, when Prabanjan dies he collects that neck cuff and the rear shot shows him put it on his left shoulder as he walks away...
Just another validation to this viewpoint is shown when Kamal uses his left hand wrapped in the metal chain to knockout Sandhanam in the climax - No wonder that his watch says ‘Bingo’ for the punch :)

If everyone close to the main characters are alive, it won't be interesting. It will be generic. Again if Prabanjan was not killed then there is no need for vikram to come out of the hiding. If Bejoy's family is not killed then he wouldn't be joining Vikram's squad. If Vikram's gang haven't killed stephenraj there is no need for amar's team to start the investigation. If santhanam's family were not killed then there is no need for him to take revenge on Amar's wife. If Gayatri is not killed then there is no need for Amar to join the masker/vikram squad. If members of Pilot(1987) squad/biker squd were not killed then there will be too much overpowered characters in the story in the future. Killing drove the plot of Kaithi and Vikram 4. If Karnan @ Vikram already know Rolex place he simply just bomb that place right? But why he walking in slow move? Mumbai might be one of many hubs. Investigation requires more information. Where is drug being imported from? Where it is distributed? etc. Need to find the whole network and have to attack strategically. In kaithi the police will hit anbu with fire extinguisher and we all thought that he died there. Interestingly, Anbu was in attendance at the meeting with Rolex. I noticed that anbu has stitches from his neck down and that could be the indicator that he survived 3 months back.

Your question is right bro. It was not properly explained in the film. Let me clarify it, adaikalam says about the drugs that has been destroyed at vjs place. It is also in chennai only and it's an hub for the huge distribution which is completely shattered down by amar. The other Chennai's outburst is the two containers missing from vjs which is at the end destroyed by vikram by the mission code red.

There is one more interesting detail When all the agents are established The motion was ceased and agent name and speciality was posted in a form for a picture and not as a motion. But for kamalhasan the agent establishment will happen as motion and not as a picture depicting that he will survive

I felt this connection between Vikram and Nayagan. In Nayagan, kamal's son will die. right after that, his daughter will leave the house by saying "you are not my father I am an orphan". Likewise in Vikram. Kamal's in-law will call him APPA. right after Prabhajan's death, she will stop calling him Appa. Both female characters misunderstand their father figures and move away from them. This is a kind of easter egg I felt. Can anyone relate to this?

Great video. Another nice detail is when Kamal tells the child that "We are Immortals". The movie establishes that Fahadh Faasil is going to carry on Kamal's legacy, and name of his character "Amar" means "Immortal".
The cup falling scene where Tina catches it sharply is a foreshadowing for her character in the latter part of the movie. That sharp catch depicts that she is trained. The speaker "Marshall' used by Surya will come in the "PATHALA PATHALA" song. A guy carries it on his shoulder while Kamal says "Janaki voice bha". And that "vathikutchi" song is played twice in the movie. First right after "PATHALA PATHALA" denoting that Kamal is ready for his mission. Again, it is played in the Jailbreak scene for the same reason. This dialogue "strength ah katra" during VJS intro is a reference to the movie "MANAGARAM".

This was nothing but subtle..just to give u an example in anbe sivam when the train accident takes place there is a boy who needs blood and madhavan is convinced by Kamal to donate blood. The boy is called pown. Which was the same name of the character who dies in the bus accident .. so most of us would still think that boy will survive making madhavan be more conscious to being good to people..but it's the other way he ends up dying making madhavan even better. That is foreshadowing.. this was so silly . She caught the cup with such precision and insticnt that right there we knew she wasn't a domestic help ..it's as silly as showing Kamal getting killed for that interval block. The world knew immdly that the masked man was Kamal .. i loved the movie but these things just spoilt the effect of the mass moments
So, When Surya said the 'Life time settlement da' dialogue, everyone might have thought, this is Arjun Das' character Anbu's dialogue in #Kaithi , but in fact, #Rolex is the one who often says this, Anbu subconsciously influenced (Or consciously imitates) by Rolex's mannerism. Loki hints this behavior of Anbu, when Rolex lights a cigarette while dispersing, Anbu immediately takes up a cigarette and lights it up following Rolex's mannerism.
So, 'Life time settlement da' is originally Rolex's, Anbu follows it. Similarly, the butcher knife he carries. Anbu uses it in Kaithi.

During the "presentation" scene where Amar explains about agent Vikram, right at the end just before the lights get turned on, there's a split second where Amar's nose and mouth is covered in darkness (like a mask) and only his eyes will be visible.
This is a vera level foreshadowing that he'll also join the masked gang after his wife's decapitation. This is just next level screenplay to portray the clues, i got goosebumps immediately after i saw that 🔥🔥🔥

Kamal’s character is compared to an eagle in this movie. An eagle can live upto 70 years but in its 40th year it has to make a hard decision of losing its beak and talons as they get worn out over the time and makes it hard for it to hunt. After losing them, the eagle would starve for days waiting for its new and sharp beak and talons which would push it to the verge of dying. Once they grow back the eagle is almost reborn as it can hunt like its young days. Vikram’s death and comeback is similar to the eagle’s life.
Agreed. The same analogy can be applied to a caged lion that is let loose after a while. So yeah, both eagle and lion (Porkonda Singam) work.
The eagle reference suits more, as birds have longer life, precise hunting technique and definitely great vision. The lion reference in my pov is for Surya, as a hungry lion is ruthless, similarly, Surya mentions that tomorrow is day 1. Although it was pretty obvious Kamal was the masked man at the interval block, we can see hints to that as he mostly uses his left hand as the dominant one - Killing Major Sundararajan's son while the holding gun with his left hand and walking away casually with the cuff on his left shoulder knowing that Amar is out of bullets (he obviously can count the bullets on the gun Amar uses....it's also seen in the double gun barrel loading time prediction towards the climax), that flashback left-handed golf shot when Lawrence describes Karnan to Amar, when Prabanjan dies he collects that neck cuff and the rear shot shows him put it on his left shoulder as he walks away...

It’s hinting that masked gang ( Bijoy, Vikram, thiru & other men) who were affected and had loved ones killed took their revenge on him first.
During the interval scene,Sandhanam's glasses is half shaded referencing Sathyaraj's character's shades in 1986 Vikram.

Death/losses will increase the stakes of the situation. If everyone close to the main characters are alive, it won't be interesting. It will be generic. Again if Prabanjan was not killed then there is no need for vikram to come out of the hiding. If Bejoy's family is not killed then he wouldn't be joining Vikram's squad. If Vikram's gang haven't killed stephenraj there is no need for amar's team to start the investigation. If santhanam's family were not killed then there is no need for him to take revenge on Amar's wife. If Gayatri is not killed then there is no need for Amar to join the masker/vikram squad. If members of Pilot(1987) squad/biker squd were not killed then there will be too much overpowered characters in the story in the future. Killing drove the plot of Kaithi and Vikram

Mumbai might be one of many hubs. Investigation requires more information. Where is drug being imported from? Where it is distributed? etc. Need to find the whole network and have to attack strategically. Killing some group will simply create a power vaccum and someone else will in his place. Also remember what vikram said, the drug bust should make national headlines. That's part of his goal as well. And slo mo walking is just a fan service. And he is walking in normal pace it's just that the scene is shown in slo-motion

Let me clarify it, adaikalam says about the drugs that has been destroyed at vjs place. It is also in chennai only and it's an hub for the huge distribution which is completely shattered down by amar.
The other Chennai's outburst is the two containers missing from vjs which is at the end destroyed by vikram by the mission code red.

In Vikram movie, most of us are confused that Kamal aka Vikram is imitating as a LION or an EAGLE
By the song "Porkanda singam" some says Vikram imitating as a Lion
By the song "one upon a time" some says Vikram imitatinhg as an EAGLE
But I say, Vikram imitating as a Griffin (a legendary creature with the body, tail, and back legs of a lion; the head and wings of an eagle; and sometimes an eagle's talons as its front feet)

Both female characters misunderstand their father figures and move away from them.
