I love seeing the old engines still working hard out there... Your commentary during the video was very informative. Nice job putting this together. Thumbs up for sure !!!
Wow! You did well on that line. I never saw anything the time I was in zanesville years ago. I did remember seeing a train in Macedonia on the way home on the NS mainline. What railfan trips do you have planned for 2023?
In a few weeks I’ll be down in Tennessee for some stuff, summer I’m going to Minnesota, and a couple miscellaneous trips throughout the year to certain places
@@davidcoleman958 I’m going to try to get some stuff around the Duluth/Proctor area, up on the Iron Range. The trip itself isn’t gonna be for Railfanning, more of camping, but there’s always room to squeeze some trains in if you try hard enough!
Man, this is an awesome video with some great power and beautiful locations! While I may be a sucker for SD40s and Alcos, I do love the classic GEs. It's a shame to see some classic power on the chopping block, I know B&P's GP9 and GP18 will be meeting the same fate.

It's unfortunate now that everyone knows the Super 7's days are numbered, Ohio Central and other lines with engines on "The List" will be an absolute zoo of foamers. Hopefully there aren't too many idiots out there that ruin things for everyone else.
And these engines run on diesel fuel I would hate to see them be scrapped the EPA can be selfish sometimes but I understand what they mean what's harmful to the environment but as a railfan myself I wish there was a way that we can save these engines
It's on my bucket list to video a Ohio Central train going through that tunnel next to that train trestle bridge in Cambridge Ohio
I have come for the Conrail and was not disappointed.
Thanks Harrison 😂
Usually when Engines smoke like that a lot it usually means it's pretty cold outside and I think that helps keep the engine warm and so it don't quit
When Railroads Cared About Conrail In 2023, Excellent Catches

@@northernohiorailfanningpro8899 Gotcha! Definitely check out Wadena too. Its a good spot on the BNSF mainline from what a friend of mine has told me.

Hopefully AoS will try to save at least one of the Super 7’s for their museum. One could hope ig
That would technically be illegal since it would be going against a government order to scrap them

Nice video, I’m currently building 4096 in ho scale.
Do you know when this train runs?
ZVL runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday up to Cambridge, they leave Zanesville around 9am on those days

Floodgate
SCCI? That's CSNK
Weird. I was told by multiple people it was SCCI. I’m not too familiar with the area so I took their word for it
@@northernohiorailfanningpro8899 CSNK is Coshocton to Newark turn. It's night time counterpart CSSI makes the Scio turn
It used to be one train, NKSI, but the trip was too long for one crew
@@TheSantaFeGuy Ah that makes sense. I’ve always just called this job the Scio turn so thanks for the correction on that!
On the topic of corrections, we're keeping 4096 and 4093. Those two are not on the list for scrap
