Snagging spawned out pinks (humpies). Many streams are loaded with spawning fish in late sroing/summer. Casting and retrieving a treble hook will likely snag a fish. From a late '60's AK fisher. Maybe try Kenai; Homer. Seward salt waters or north to Susitna River highway accessible drainages?
Yeah, i agree. I was using a single hook, that I later pinched the bard down on. They just didn't want anything to do with it, so we ended up not staying long anyways.
