Emotional neglect is real, and sometimes worse than physical abuse. At least with pyhsical abuse, you can name your abuser. Emotional neglect is worse in that sense. The only thing to do is heal and move forward in that sense. It is really tough.

I remember when you were trying so hard to please us, ( subscribers). Often, you were questioned in the comments, why you cut or color your hair and it would upset you.

My takeaway from your chitchat is that when our life spirals into chaos, it can be a way that God (Yahweh) gets our attention to recognize Him as our source of blessings & value. Being in alignment with Him who is truth, will also help us to filter what and who are genuine and counterfeits.
