I left Cameroon 🇨🇲and came here just for Kwadwo Sheldon 🇬🇭 ❤️.
Best content creator in the world overall!
It's interesting how times have changed. Technology has opened up many doors for Africans
they will do to you as they did to Russia...this is the time for as to build our own
I love to see Africans especially Ghanaians going Global ❤️
Ghanaians can articulate themselves so effortlessly. Good job with this documentary!
Should be atleast 45 minutes long, we need part 2
YEAH TRUE. THIS IS SO NICE.
BBC - "Bii Bii Si" in Sheldon's voice. Very inspirational 👏🏾 🙌
I loved the transition from Asantewaa's story to Kwodwo sheldon's.
Kwadwo Sheldon is a legend!
Well done Sheldon and Asantewaa plus other content creators 🎉

As a Ghanaian American this makes me super proud!
During the pandemic where there was lockdown, as a nurse and the stress that came with the job, it was Kwadwo Sheldon who was my greatest companion. Up to date, I can’t go a day without visiting his channel. I’m not surprised he’s been featured on BBC. KUDOS my guy and the head is big for a reason😂😂😂😂
Who's that ? Never heard of him.
As an African RUclipsr I will keep pushing with the motivation that one day my channel will grow and pay off like Kwadwo Sheldon.
The hustle is real but I believe that my audience will keep growing. Congratulations to Sheldon, Asantewaa and Osagyefo.
Good job guys ... I hope Tiktok sees this and properly regulates their monetization aspect.
Tiktok is confusing and yet very addictive!
@@rhodaasante you have a point it’s very very confusing and addictive
When the struggles you've been through become an inspiration, then it's worth it.... Be the reason why someone can face the day
100% true. Our scares give us strength. Self pity is self destructive.
I'm a professional teacher at primary school here and I say what the helll it's to be a teacher in Ghana 🇬🇭, as a diploma teacher our average salary is $130 a month but I personally because my student loan back at the college 🎓, I'm now taking $111 per month.
But here we go!!!!
What you do? We're only trying our best to live with minimum expectations and yet with hope in God almighty, still won't relent.
Greetings from Ghana 🇬🇭
But in Ghana, that money isn't Lil depending on where you live.
Plus private school teachers earn less than y'all but they teach better and more dedicated than public school teachers.
Many of you, don't merit that pay even, am sorry.
Keep making Ghana proud bro!
It time to create the Ghanaian platforms for Ghanaians
Jackline Mensah paved the way she should be part of the interview
You can add her
@@kojoenochdjimatey614 Jessica Opare Saforo is also up there with em i think.
@@kojoenochdjimatey614 atleast 14 people and counting have agreed with me so your comment is needless

@@Mr.Boamah. Jacqueline Mensah is the Queen people should respect that fact
Beautiful Documentary ❤
This documentary is nice but wasn't fair on Jacqueline Mensah.. I will say she's the Pioneer when it comes to tiktok video in Ghana
To all fellow contents creators, may your hustle pay off.
Online Hustle!!!
(Kwadwo Sheldon's voice)
Thank you for featuring me 🙏🏿
Awesome nice documentary nice to see Africans using the internet for their advantage and informing us on what they do

This is a must watch man!
Kwadwo sheldon part should have been longggg
This is great; creative transitions 👏 especially from Asantewaa to Sheldon
Wow. Interesting stories. The 70-30 split between TikTok and its creators is not good
Very soon I will be on this platform 😊🙏🏾
Amen😊
Very inspiring. We will one day get there. For now, I clap for y’all. God bless you for paving the way with such an inspiring journey.
Ghana stand up🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Even those employed no dey see top. This country is hard rough.
Welcome to the reality of every country on earth. Most people working will never be on top
We just suffer differently or make the suffering look better
That addictive gifting is only making one country rich......CHINA. I wish my African bros will stop this addiction 🙏🏽
We are proud of you guys, keep moving higher
This is lovely of BBC News Africa to do this , indeed, RUclips is such a beautiful place to be,to make good income, we focus on creating a good content to help others out there but not really not easy with our 9 to 5 job..
So indirectly Adwoa on Kwadwo Sheldon's cho of the day was part of the documentary. 💃🎉🎉
Everyone can have money but how to maximize it and utilize it to the best possible is a whole different blessings on it own. May we all have the blessing of maximizing our wealth and utilizing it in a way that benefits us and rest of mankind. Have a wonderful weekend, y’all.
Please correct the lady’s name in the description.
Was so proud to see Sheldon
"Everything is content ,film it!"
Tiktok seem to be taking all the revenue from these content creators. Big up Sheldon tho💰
I am here for u Sheldon ❤❤❤🇳🇬
This is really inspiring and educating. God bless us all and open doors and opportunities for us 🙏🏼😞
We are tired 🤦🏾♂️
We will get there soon. 😊
Ubarikiwe..
Thanks @BBC. I've started my RUclips channel to share my knowledge about the forex market and how youths can make a living from trading but I'm amazed about the opportunities that social media has in stock for us especially RUclips.
Great piece
So inspiring
$1000 is A lot of money in most African countries. Africans really should take social media more seriously rather than focusing on traditional jobs which pay peanuts.
Great documentary... Kudos @asantewaaaaa ❤️ keep being you 💖💖💖
We Africans have same problem bad government not providing jobs for people in Africa bad leadership thank God for social media
The transition from Asantewaa to Kwadwo Sheldon is so smooth!!!!
Super smooth
Social Media can be used as an informative tool but let us not be deceived that it is what is going to grow our economies. If everybody is to jump on social media who is going to grow our real sector economy.
I'm highly motivated watching this video from these gurus on social media. I understand with hard work we can equally get there with time. To anyone reading this, even as you have fun lets put in the work so it counts in our bank accounts
Same here Joe. I'm really fired up.
Thank you BBC
From what I've heard, RUclips pays a lot more than Tik Tok. And they're saying that they don't get paid anything directly from Tik Tok in Ghana.
You are right Asantewaa food is not cheap in Ghana...
This guys seems to be so cool I'm fan of them
The transition 🎉
This is real, no edits 💯
God will make a way 🙏
Good job done
Kwadwo sheldon❤️❤️❤️❤️
Social media is the new gold.
please nurses in Ghana doesn't get 170 pounds a month. we receive less than that.
So what is your point ?? You think in Ghana we are over paid ??? Wait untill you find out...how much they make in Sweeden or the USA
Can you read?
@@elvisowusuansah7151 🤣
@@elvisowusuansah7151 I are mean 😂
Everyone's salary is in his or her mouth and mind, is all about your lifestyle, skill, or ability to do it and do it better which is your God given gift . Ayekooooo guys, Yawa of the day is when you fall, ok, don't give up, never.
This is great🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
Thank you BBC and congratulations to the content creators interviewed.
I will keep pushing till I build my own audience but truth it’s not easy especially when you are from northern Ghana 🇬🇭. God bless us all 😊
Wow!
Regardless of what TikTok says, I've heard from other sources (news programs, documentaries, personal acquaintances, etc.) that they take 70% of the amount sent. The fact that this same amount is consistently and independently found by different groups/channels/organizations in different countries shows that TikTok is lying about their cut, most likely because they know this THEFT from the poor would outrage most of the world
Why can't Africa (or Ghana) create its own platform 🤔??
170 pounds a month as salary?? Meaning my weekly tax is even more than a salary of a nurse someone saving lives??
Indeed @BBB New Africa Ampa
Here for Kwadwo Sheldon!
Beautiful ❤️
The very footsteps some of us enumerating.... ☺️

It's not easy over here oo.
Kwadwo Sheldon🎉
Thats dope

When few people make money from this apps or social media sites in Africa, many young people waste their time watching and doing nothing. So, tech education like coding, programming, design etc for youth must be provided so the youth can create their own digital economic future and prosperity.
