Ain't no one reasonable gonna blame you for calling a trowel a spade. My mom gardens and *I* woulda called it a spade. I was under the impression the trowel was the mini-hand-rake lookin' tool.
Also, I had deja vu hearing the story about you getting hit in the gut with a soccer ball, cause I had a track record for getting hit with PE equipment when I was in school, and one of the incidents of me getting hit was a day we had a free-play-day outside where we could use whatever equipment we wanted, and I had never been a PE kid, so I was just leaning against the school wall near some kids passing a soccer ball around when one of them kicked it so hard directly into my gut (unintentionally... I think) that I legit got winded (your description of getting hit in the gut with a soccer ball is a perfectly accurate match for how getting hit in the gut with a soccer ball felt for me). Very unpleasant, though still not as bad as the three times I've been hit in the face with a volley ball.
Ohh, so it seems that garden tools aren't only good for gardening, but at bamboozling us, too!
That sounds terrible, especially when you're not even involved in playing, and then you get hit regardless OTL Hopefully the deja vu wasn't too painful - here's to never having any sort of sport inflict pain on us ever again 🤝
@@Gaming_Gato Thankfully no prolonged injuries ever came out of me getting hit with PE equipment, so they're mostly just funny anecdotes to recount now and then. Though not getting hit with any again is still ideal 😅. 🤝
