Happy Friday everyone! I'd love to hear about the steps you're taking to grow your finances! Check out my free Net Worth Calculator in the description box below! 💕
Buying as much UiPath as I can in the ROTH with a long term outlook on the company. Apart from that just building liquidity and waiting for valuations to normalize.
@@ryansimpson3074 Waiting for valuations to normalize can be a smart move in this market, so much uncertainty. I think I'm still going to invest regularly through my Roth IRA (and HSA, which I'm planning on opeing in January) since it's for the long term. Thanks for sharing your strategy!
@@galbiller The best thing you can do for the rest of your life is max out your roth IRA no matter what it takes. For 2024, it's $7000 for singles. Tax free gains. I'm in my mid 40s and I'm really starting to see the compounding take off like a rocket.
That's great progress! Maxing out your retirement accounts is a good plan! It sounds like you're setting yourself up for a comfortable future! Keep it up :)
Hi! I'm planning to Max out my Roth IRA for the first time this year and opening an HSA in January (hopefully to max that out as well) so from now on, no more relying only on rental income from real estate :)
I'm 40 yrs old with 570k net worth, so we're basically in the same bucket. Nice job, chica! The difference between us is that I own undeveloped land, instead of rental real estate. I also own 100% stocks, and zero cryptocurrency.
Thanks so much! Congrats on your impressive net worth as well! 🤗 It's always interesting to hear about different strategies! Wishing you continued success in growing your portfolio! 🫶
Nice work! My only advice is (1) start maxing out retirement accounts (2) cut up credit cards (3) sell investments and pay down the debt…. I’m 34 with $1.2m net worth
You're doing great! How do you manage your rental properties? Do you do that yourself or do you pay for a management company? In reference to needed repairs, HOA issues, tenant issues, etc.
I've ldefinitely learned the importance of financial habits and making smarter decisions overtime! It’s been a journey and I’ve made some adjustments along the way. I try to focus on long term goals and staying consistent! Thanks for watching 😊
Brilliant video! I'm in the UK so the terminology we use is slightly different, although the accounts you talk about I can definitely relate too. I've been contemplating moving money from my cash savings account and just putting it into my investment account where it would be kept in a Money Market Fund. Interest rates are the same, but I lose the government protection. I do like everything being in one place. I only started investing 12 months ago so I currently have a total of £5k, which is about $6.5k I think?! I have my own place though and zero debts. Hoping to retire a bit earlier than most people, but I may have started a bit late (44 now ), so we'll see how it goes.
Thank you, I'm so glad to hear that! It’s great that you’re already investing and making progress, it’s never too late to start. Congrats on being debt free and owning your home, that’s a huge accomplishment! A diversified portfolio and automating your savings and investments can make a big difference. Best of luck with growing your portfolio and achieving your goal of early retirement!
I always love watching your vidoes coz its very relatable and also we are kinda in the same situation, although im a bit older as ill be 42 next month and also didnt came in US until 2015. Although this year I was I ventured into buying land that I am looking to build something into. My 10 year plan is to max my 401k and roth IRA and pay off all our mortgages. We have 4 rentals total and hopefully retire maybe not early but worry free. Goodluck on your goals!
That sounds like a great plan! I love to hear how others are working toward similar goals! Best of luck with maxing out your 401k and Roth IRA, and paying off those mortgages!
I'd definitely recommend getting back into the market if possible. At least start putting money into your retirement accounts. You're still relatively young so you have time on your side for compounding interest.
@@silkalmony5357 Rental properties aren't cash flowing like they used to, it's less attractive to me. I need to put more money down for a positive cash flow- which I need to save for
@@galbiller Nice strategy but also remember todays prices are tomorrows bargains 😊 But for me real estate will always trump as the real asset winner for wealth creation.
@@nolimits1981 Bitcoin scares me 😟 when I buy real estate I always have a good feeling, when I hold bitcoin im always worried I’ll wake up one day and it will fall to zero
@ I understand as there is no real use case for the asset but I definitely think there is scope now as institutional investor are welcoming the coin along with fed reserve looking to hold bitcoin. In this case knowledge will give you more confidence; even if you dca for the next few years - this will stop you missing out and naturally you will follow any major breakthroughs as you investing monthly. I hope you are having an amazing Xmas day :)
Great job on saving/investing. I would open a Roth to get tax advantages. I started diversifying in my early 40s opening brokerage and Hsa. Looking at your old videos, you seem like a spender on clothes..
Thank you! I’m actually planning to fund my Roth IRA and open an HSA in January, I just got an eligible health plan, so I'm excited to take advantage of all those benefits! 🤗 I used to spend a lot on clothes, but now I've accumulated more than I need! These days, I'm focusing more on saving and investing for my long term goals!
Thank you! Yes it's a smart move, I thought about it when I purchased my properties in 2016 but I couldn't see how I would be able to get enough money inside the self directed Roth IRA for the down payment (Because of the yearly limit)
I also have 💯 stocks in my 401K, Roth, & brokerage accts mostly stocks & ETF. I do have a mortgage and has $1200 rental income from basement rental and tax free $755 from VA disability.
That’s a smart way to diversify! It’s also great that you’re getting some extra cash flow with the rental income from your basement and the VA disability benefits. Thanks for sharing and best of luck 🫶
This randomly came up on the YT algorithm. Great content and I just subscribed. I also use brokerage for the same reason and I'm currently liquid as this market is long overdue. Real Estate seems complicated so I never got into it outside of REIT trades. ROTH IRA. Well. Quite possibly the greatest thing ever and I try to max it out every year. Ok zero judgement but having $0 in any retirement accounts at 39? Is the plan to have rental income fund your retirement exclusively? Just curious!!

Thanks for sharing this and being so transparent! If I may ask, how much do the three rental properties generate per month after taxes?
