Congrats on your new machine. You have to read the spool thread cones, some are Rayon and some of them are Polyester. That’s why you have duplicate colors. And the threads are not loaded according to what the popular colors, it depends on what colors you are using in the embroidery design. You then load the thread colors according to the embroidery design. Hopes this helps you. Happy embroiderying🎊
Congradulations on your new embroidery machine!!! Welcome to a whole new world! You're gonna love it! A couple tips for you: if you put a piece of white paper behind the eye of needle you can see better to put it right through the hole. The second tip is about your thread. Ricoma gave you 2 different types. The "polyneon" is the most popular and I've been using it for almost 30 years. The second was "Rayon" and i just wanted to caution you that it tends to bleed in the wash. (It could run colors around your embroidery on a white shirt for example). It may be wise to keep those spools seperate from your polyneon. I'm so excited for you! If i can be of any help, please feel free to contact me!
I don't use Rayon at all since the thread bled after first washing and I had to redo customers order. This was in 1997 so it's possible Rayon thread has been improved. Back in the day, Rayon was used for more "Art" type embroidery ...pics for wall etc. (something that wasn't going in the washing machine) It's strong and lays flat even when stitch count is high. I mostly embroider on garments so after that first mishap, I never used Rayon again. Polyester holds up and keeps its color even on swimsuits that are subjected to long periods of time in chlorinated water.
Been thinking about getting this machine for the longest, but need to finish learning my SE600 first. Know your channel though, you probably have me purchasing before the end of the video, but will resist the temptation.😆
Stick with it lady! Machine Embroidery is my craft of choice and it took a little while to learn all the things! Great job!

I really appreciate those tips. When should the rayon thread be used?

Good evening.
Hello there!
Delonda, didn't know you were going to start embroidery
Hello Delonda and Everyone in the Chat. 👋🏽
I hope Milo like Congratulations ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🥰
He stares at it with his head tilted sideways 🤣
Hello Delonda, and everyone in the chat
I wouldn't be able to get it. There is no room and no help. Looks exciting, though. I have a small Disney embroideey machine, which goes 5 by 7.
Honestly, the threading terrifies me!
Delonda is now way out of Beginner Crafting. Lol. 😆
Price?😊
You have to call them because they have so many different options.
The 20 does not have an automatic threader 😞
I don’t think I can do embroidery.
How much do they cost?
It depends on which machine you get.
I have no space lol😂
Congratulations!!
Thank you ❤️
