As you mentioned you can delete your msgs but few days older msg cannot be deleted from this option it shows only delete option not deleted from everyone after following your all exact steps if you have any new trick with latest updates help me out
It did work but i changed the date to a day before the date i sent the message ,for ex if i want to delete message sent on 18th of july i add the date on 17th and keep the hour as the current one .but not sure if the messages are still available for the other person

Noo! After you change your settings you have to Exit WhatsApp and Reopen in again and it will say "Delete for All". But it doesn't delete for the other person, it will only delete for you.

i tried this on a group chat for messages that were 4 days old. All steps worked as you explained. To validate, I checked with a friend and it didn't actually delete from his whatsapp though now they are all deleted from my whatsapp. Any suggestions?

didnt work. when i reopen whatsapp the app wont go past the only msg i get which is 'Date is inaccurate' and a button below which says 'adjust date' apart from that i cannot access whatsapp because if i press adjust the date it opens my phones date settings in order to change it. Doesnt work. WhatsApp will show it as message deleted (for everyone) but the other person can still see the message.
