@@33Riff-Raff I've got a first gen 955i (t595 model) from 2000, makes about the same at the wheel, I thought a quickshifter (was considering one) was a no go on these as well, does it run well? Not afraid of ruining your gearbox? And what exhaust is that? I've got a TOR, and although it sounds great they are heavy as they can be...
Nothing wrong w/ 128 rwhp... about right w/ 147 at the crank. The most simple way to make these Daytona 955i perform better is change the gearing.... gear it down.. 17T up front, 45 or 46T rear... changes the whole character .. Unfortunately there's no room for an overbore kit w/the cooling jackets design.. and a 'middle' cylinder...LOL .. We got huge gains on my L-twin testastretta Duc 999 w/ a BCM 102mm overbore kit, 13.5:1 Pistal pistons, Corse spec S cams.. The Daytona has forged pistons, nikasil cylinder sleeves, shot-peened rods.. so there could be some more HP to be had going w/ custom HC pistons, upping compression.. Cams just move the power around in the rpm band. Haven't met anyone who's gone into the motor .. a good map, dry K&N filter, sprockets are plenty ....
Most people call the low rev performance flat spots. I call them smooth zones and perfect for a Gentleman's Sports Tourer but you're right if you sort the teeth out it makes a very fine heavyweight thug !
Triumph Daytona have awesome noise I've had one for 27yrs now just upgraded to newer model can't wait for dryer days good work triumph
Are those pvm wheels and ohlins from the 12-13 R models?
Hi . Yeah PVM wheels on a 2017 ST hub.
What quickshifter is this? Is this also an autoblipper?
It's a Healtech QS. But not an auto blipper
His right hand is the autoblipper, I've got the same one! Works like a charm in every gear exept when going back to first on very tight corners! 😂

The quick shifter doesn't hurt the gear box if set up well.

Thanks Carl. I have changed the gearing but 520 rear sprockets are limited.
Bime runs well and so far has been reliable.

What exhaust are you running it sounds good. Looks like Trident carbon fiber. I’ve been looking and trying different exhaust for my 99’ Daytona
Its a trident exhaust.
