I wish to see some of these races with stock bikes. Hard to tell what’s really faster when one has more mods than the other. I have a 2012 r1 and a 2005 r1. The ‘05 always smashes the ‘12, but the 05 has all the bolt on’s and the ‘12 is stock.
Beavistown Yep. As a mate of mine once pointed out, tank filler caps are optional as many people don’t manage to use up a whole tank before totalling the bike and themselves. I was never good enough to ride like that and as I’ve got older, I’m less good (at riding fast). Better at avoiding offs & collisions 🤗
These races are awesome, but those slammed and stretched bikes must have the brands engineers crying. So much R&D to develop these amazing handling machines and you throw all that out the window just go fast in a straight line... to each is own but I prefer to drag knees and elbows around corners.

Always questioned some of the vids with the Cbr... now that I've gotten some really good pulls on mine I see what it is. Off the line it's a bullet.. once you hit 5th..6th... that's it.. not enough on the high end.
You should say which mods are applied on everty bike (gear ratio, exhaust, ECU modded etc.). In example that CBR is very fast, but we know it has 10HP less than R1 or ZX10.

The SP1 and SP2 are so advanced compared to a standard cbr. The have gp shifters stock and lots of titanium

Hopefully the redesigned 2019 CBR1000 can contend. CBRs are the best looking bikes IMO but not the fastest... yet
I think CBRs are also the most reliable but lack the power of the other liter bikes.
