Really? Because I'm getting really tired of this fake 'throw some mud on a carpet and wash it' shit. It's always the same damn mud! I want to see the carpet that's been sitting in a smoker's kitchen for 30 years. Or one that's been on the living room floor with a whole bunch of kids for 10 years. You know, real life shit, not the mud from your parking lot. I could get that clean in my bathtub!

Give the mud to a gold panner
I'm not a professional rug cleaner, so consider this asking for clarification.
If I had a rug where the surface was so visibly covered in dirt, I would soak and scrape it once or twice before scrubbing it. Why do professional rug cleaners tend to scrub first even in this circumstance?
Thank you for this good question. Scraping is a harder job for dirt and sticky mud than brushing. The chemicals and soaps we pour are intended to soften the dirt and mud on the carpet. It is applied in this way to prevent the wool threads on the carpet from shedding too much and to prevent excessive irritation of the carpet. 🤗👍👊
